This van Jones character is just the sort that we should have expected to pop up in the Obama administration. Obama's entire history consists of him befriending one racial, anti-white, anti-American leftist after another. Jeremiah Wright and William Ayers aren't the excepts, but the rule. For people (esp. conservatives) to act shocked that Obama would bring in a self-proclaimed Marxist like van Jones is absurd in the extreme. I have news for them, Obama doesn't just associate with anti-American, socialist radicals, he is one.

Most WASPs voted McCain (not that that is much better!). They are one of the few “ethnic” groups that vote overwhelmingly for the Right.

McCain is emphatically not of the Right.

Van Jones is a well-known communist, not an environmentalist. A true environmentalist must necessarily be an immigration restrictionist.

Van Jones and many of his clones often say “Environmentalism is the new civil rights issue!” I also hear “immigration is the new civil rights issue!” How many more “civil rights issues” will we get “czars” for? They might as well just say “God is on OUR side on this issue” because whenever they invoke “civil rights” they’re implying as much since the actual “civil rights” period has attained mythological status in the Great Public Religion. It also means that issue is off limits for debate. Maybe I’m just a cynic…

We all might remember that Mr. Obama’s new Science Czar is John Holdren, one of the people who advocated radical population control in the 1960’s and 70s. He and numerous other “social scientists” advocated abortion, forced sterilization, and any other means possible to not only stop population growth but reduce it world wide. Which reminds us that though the right to die has its good points, if Mr. Holdren should should endorse Jack Kevorkian,we could see the death panels. There are a lot more like him lurking in the dank corners.
