Glenn Beck gets HALFWAY there in his rant – he mentions Cass Sunstein and “exporting” the FDR 2nd Bill of Rights overseas. Well, why do we need an interventionist foreign policy. Do we need Marines to tell Afghans about gay marriages, Iraqis about socialized medicine, Koreans about animal rights (a Sunstein cause), and Somalis about wealth redistribution? It still irks me about those “conservatives” who HALFWAY understand the evils of “do good” statism but then turn around and want to use the power of the government to export this same garbage (called “democracy”) overseas. People like Washington, Jefferson, and John Quincy Adams would be replused by these neoconservatives who “admire FDR” and endorse a “strong Wilsonian” foreign policy of making the world “safe for democracy”. When will Palin, Beck, Limbaugh, Coulter, and Hannity wake up???
