I grew up in an old, drafty house in a cold weather climate. I got used to it (indeed, it’s all I ever knew), and cannot stand the oppressive heat of most houses I enter. While the Wisconsin winters I presently endure are a bit too cold and a bit too long, I’ll take them over the hot, humid weather many people seem to enjoy. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

John Danforth needs to be sent to a re-education camp. Meanwhile, led by Nobel Laureate Al Gore, EVERYONE agrees that man-caused global warming is indisputable. This is apparently the same EVERYONE who decided that Saddam Hussein had nukes and had to be invaded … and the same EVERYONE in favor of the bailouts, Patriot Act, payments to 9/11 widows, leaving no child behind, etc. {amazing the great track record that EVERYONE has!} Sunspots and solar climate relating to Earth’s weather – absurd! Next thing, you’ll tell me that printing trillions of dollars causes inflation! Well, I’m driving from Virginia to Wisconsin for a wedding (since I won’t fly in TSA-land and risk arrest) so I hope that Al Gore is literally as well as politcally correct about warming next week until I return. So Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, and – of course – a very Kwayze Kwanzaa!

No argument or evidence will ever dissuade this faction. The problem or danger doesn’t matter. It can be jerry-built and jerry-rigged to fit all situations. It’s the imposition of the solution that stokes these tireless efforts. They’ve always had the solution, it’s the genuine problem they can’t find.

I’ll go one step farther than Popper — A theory that can’t be disproven by any means is a religion. The global warming movement has every single attribute of a religion.

From what I understand, “global warming” is no longer passe. The new phrase is more all-inclusive; climate change. You can’t go wrong with that one. As long as there is climate change (ie. weather) they are vindicated.
