The Obamas “attended” Ivy League schools which, a fortiori, makes them smarter than 99.9999% of all people who ever walked on earth. But then politics is about popularity, not brains. In any case, when the “opposition” consists of Socrates Sarah Palin, Yee Haw Huck, Donald “You’re Fired” Trump, and Crash Pilot McMussolini-Cain, Obama can look extremely sophisticated. Most of these egotistical clowns have professional speechwriters,” handlers”, and Spin Doctors elevating these latter day Warren Hardings into the Einstein League.

Having said that, I’d be curious to see what Obama really accomplished in his “academic career”.

A reasonable media would’ve asked why. Was Hillary Clinton “un-serious” to have her campaign first raise the issue? What about the questions concerning John McCain’s canal zone birth?

The main reason I thought the birther issue worthy of further consideration at this point is were Zero proven ineligible, a whole bunch of odious legislation he’s signed is null and void. Yes, this brings on a constitutional crisis, but the republic is so dead, and so lawlessly governed that I’m ready for a “bring it on” moment.

I don’t understand why you say Trump was dealt a blow. To me it appears Trump accomplished something half the country could not do for over three years, get Mr. Obama to release his long form. Not everyone who was calling for this release claimed Mr. Obama was foreign born. They just said he should have released the proper form, and he finally did.

I see this as a victory for Trump. He is a businessman used to negotiating deals. He just made Obama blink for nothing in return. So obviously his attacks on Obama are causing concern. That is more than can be said for McCain and other republicans who have so far laid down without a fight.

If Trump can make Obama fold on this, maybe republicans will take note of his unbending tactics and do the same in legislative areas. Maybe they might even get around to voting on Obama’s Libyan War!

Do you really find someone clever who spends an inordinate amount in lawyer’s fees to prevent the release of a measly birth certificate? It fits in line with this current President’s approach to all matters fiscal (i.e. never let money NOT go to waste).

As to why people are interested? Well, isn’t it easier than having to open up an Econ book to understand Paul Ryan’s graphs and math.

I don’t think anyone is more disappointed in Obama’s action yesterday than the news storytellers at MSNBC, CNN, ABC, and NBC. So much so, that a day later the issue has passed, but they’re still obsessing over it. No worries in 48 hours the news will have a new story that no in America actually cares about. A couple of inbreeds in the United Kingdom will be getting married while America sleeps.
