Few were more strident in this cause than was Senator Ted Kennedy (D-MA). Funny, though, how — now that they have realized their goal for black rule in the former RSA — they never seem to admit responsibility or apologize for the harm they have done. It is a crime what happened. A crime. And how many lives — both black and white — have been lost to this leftist folly. Now a strategic vacuum a mile wide has been opened up and look for either China or Russia to fill it. South Africa will never be neglected for long, as it is INCREDIBLY rich in natural resources and located in a strategically critical geographical location.

The NYT is many things but it is neither stupid nor ill informed. They were and are willing to sacrifice lives in order to further their agenda. Watch out when it starts happening ror real in the United States.

It is vastly worse than just letting some mediocrities into elite colleges. I wonder if some of the South Africans (your sister?) should emigrate to Mexico and then just sneak up north for the amnesty – but the joke is that Mexico probably enforces its border better than Bush, McCain, or Obama ever would. Well, the Barry Bearack article is indicative why Israel will never include 6 million Palestinians “returning” to Israel.

Perhaps the best strategy is for whites to abandon African basket-case countries until the saner Africans realize what they have lost, clean up those countries, and invite them back.

[We’ve been over this; immigration is very hard. The US doesn’t exactly welcome white South Africans. Also relevant is “Please Can My Sister Become An Illegal Immigrant?“–IM]
