I haven’t flown in years. I’ll be damned if I’m going to PAY MONEY to be harassed and have my rights violated. Of course, the vast majority of the sheeple interviewed on the news last night puked out the state approved lines; “They’re just trying to keep us safe”, “People need to remember we’re at war!” etc. Heaven help us all what we’ve become as a nation.

One has to wonder where anyone in Congress is on this issue? Do any of them care that the TSA searches grossly violate the 4th Amendment to the Constitution? If Congress will not take on the administration over this I doubt a few angry Americans are going to make a difference. Are the newly elected Republican’s going to wait till they are seated and comfortable in their new jobs before they reflect the passionate disgust of the people of this country? In the meantime, I agree that not flying would be an appropriate action to try to get the airlines to protect their customers.

I expressed my fear to you and Sean about flying – I DROVE to Wisconsin and Cleveland for weddings – but unfortunately the next one is near Seattle which is (as they say) a long schlep – and my mommy is not there to hold me. I think I will try to write my Congressman. Yes, the Tribune censored the abuse of little Mandy “the terrorist” Simon – here is a link I found:

Count me in on the boycott.

This all started when they suspended the second amendment on commercial air. Armed citizens are the only legitimate defense against a diffuse threat. Since they’ve gotten away with that, they got rid of the first, third, fourth, and fifth also as they are all impediments to efficient law enforcement.

But remember friends- if you plan to “just drive” to avoid this that the same kind of thugs say your right to drive is a privilege! They’re also already browbeating and assaulting train passengers in the big apple.

Isn’t there a national campaign to teach kids to call the police if someone inappropriately gropes them. Yet here, we have a ‘officer’ being encouraged to grope a kid. What kind of signals are we giving. Everything I read about the TSA is that this is the only country with scanners, plus gropers. Most if not all use the interview system. I don’t claim to know a lot about airport security but somebody in authority should. I’ll also grant that it is possible that a child is a security risk. Haven’t flown since 2007 and the only time I will fly commercial with these rules is if it’s out of this country for good. It’s a shame not being able to see my younger relatives grow up. Not sure when I’ll ever have the time for a cross-country train or car trip either.
