Wasn’t it Buchanan who said that “inevitability is the language of the tyrant?”

The future is not a mere extrapolation of the present. History is filled with miracles and disasters unlooked-for.

I’m sure that in early September 1683, Mustafa Pasha extrapolated that Vienna would be his by the end of the month, and further extrapolated that Austria would be his within a year. But someone got in his way.

Articles like that in the Times are propaganda, designed to sow despair. Nothing more.

This “50% point” may get delayed a long long time. We have $13 Terabucks of deficit to pay interest on. If interest rates ever hit 10%, that will be $ 6000 per taxpayer. Does anyone think that all the industrial pensions, 401 k’s, Socialistic Insecurity, and Medicare/Medicaid/Medical-goop is going to be paid for by some magic genie 10 years from now. Basically, 2050 is way to far ahead to predict while we are sliding into the black hole of catastrophic default.

Time, and Newsweek, and other such waste of trees will be out of business long before that so-called date with destiny. Who reads these sources of old “news,” biased to reflect an anti-Western viewpoint in the day of instant news from a thousand sources online.

How about for the essays? The WHOLE rag is an essay against the US and the West. Time to shut the doors TIME, and reduce your carbon footprint to zero.

As a resident of a border state (Arizona), I must implore people in outlying regions to look to the border. You folks who live outside the border belt have no true idea (because of the State controlled media) what is really happening along the border. Time you educated yourselves about it. I have acquaintances and relatives who live outside the border areas whose argument is "we don't want to seem prejudiced" when it comes to dealing with "foreign nationals who want to work here, live here, get free medical services here, have their anchor babies here, get welfare here, then send their earnings to Mexico to support their real homeland, which is The Republic of Mexico. The problems faced by Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California insofar as the "immigration invasion" goes, are a prime example of what you will be facing in a few years. It's coming to YOU and a state near YOU. And the FEDS are funding it. Unlike the metropolitan, liberal infested, minority controlled ghettos of New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, Los Angeles and others, the United States west of Pennsylvania and east of the People's Republic of California is a vast, open, rural setting inhabited by what is left of pioneer Americans who are not afraid of the government, nor are they afraid to defend themselves from government intrusion and alien invasion. The local police are hamstrung by P.C. liberal hierarchies which prevent them from enforcing immigration laws in the name of "social justice", a cover word for "liberalism". With the exception of Sheriff Joe Arpaio, in Maricopa County (Phoenix Metro), Arizona, and a few others, the immigration invasion is going strong. And if you expect the FEDS to assist in any great measure any time soon, I have some ocean-front property in Yuma, Arizona I'd like to sell you. [Welcome, Mike. No worries. Our current administration is working feverously to make over America in the image of the countries where most of the immigrants are coming from.
So when they do get here they’ll feel right at home.
