Secession is apparently a great thing anywhere east of Fort Sumpter.

Thanks so much for the article exposing the “Dalai Lama”. I work at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, and the Dalai Lama was here to expound his nauseating rhetoric two days ago. Everyone is still a buzz about “the Great Dalai Lama being here”, it is sickening. This is the Mayo Clinic, supposedly the second best hospital in the U.S., and one of the top in the entire world, and all these Doctors, administrators, and other allied health staff, are drooling over this demon-possessed man, like a Freshman boy over a senior over-tanned, over-bleached Head Cheerleader. It is truly pathetic. But as you pointed out, it’s all a lie, he was truly a Theocratic dictator before he came to the West. Well enough of my ranting, thanks so much for attempting to educate this shockingly ignorant society we live. Have a great day.

Dustin

Perhaps this is a preemptive warning from the powers-that-be (through willing dupes) that China should not stop supporting the American dollar. Iraq’s and Iran’s sin was to refuse US dollars in exchange for oil.

in terms of the planet’s potential.

The ONLY reason it resonates is
due to the romantic “drama” that
the West has placed upon its
totally supreme
insignificance.

Apart from the fact that the belief system for which the Dalai Lama stands is not as pacifist and wholesome as he and his followers would like to make us believe, it ought not to be overlooked that he and his monks once were bound in a “Treuebund” (something like a “covenant of troth”) with the Nazis, from which the God-King has never distanced himself, as he hasn’t from his great friend and mentor, the recently deceased Ex-SS-Oberscharführer and post-war media personality Heinrich Harrer.

His excellent relationships with the “Theosophische Gesellschaft” are interesting as well, the “missing link” between Buddhism and Christianity, whose members regard the Holocaust as something based on the Jews’ bad karma.

The main question is, however, why we in the West, who are in the process of jettisoning all ethical and moral standards as repressive, accept so easily a strange authority with its debased and rotten standards. The same could be said about Islam, but that’s beside the point here.

If some people project godlike fantasies on a person, does that say anything about the person himself?

Read the whole Time Magazine article where the Dalai Lama talks about Communism and his exile. The man has common sense and humility in a degree incomprehensible to the Chinese Communists and their supporters.

And, Myron Pauli, your statistic on the black incarceration rate is utterly irrelevant. Nobody is suggesting the U.S. do anything overt about Tibet, so whether the U.S. is immoral or moral has nothing to do with this. The problem is with China. [Not according to a rational, reality-based analysis, such as “The US is in the Red and Getting Redder”.–IM] Bringing American racism into it is a well-worn tactic straight out of the Chinese Communist propaganda manual.

The American government is a far greater aggressor on a global scale than China that only has interfered with itself and direct neighbors.

The Tibetans, Xinjing, Formosan, Han, Mongolian, Manchurian peoples have to sort out THEIR own problems…. but for what its worth, I will not pole vault this year in the Olympics nor watch it – thus making all the Tibetans feel so so much better.

The Transcendental Meditation technique is hardly ‘fortune cookie wisdom’. It has helped millions of people and will continue to do so. Its benefits have been validated by hundreds of scientific studies over the past 35 years, many of which were published in peer-reviewed journals. Its efficacy has been recognized by the National Institutes of Health, the premier body overseeing medical research in the US. And it is starting to be introduced in school programs in the US and Canada.

So many western people are so arrogant that they can’t see how terrible the Dalai Lama regime was. Most of them are nice people trying so hard to help the Tibetan people. What they don’t know is what they do only encourages more Tibetan people to hate the Han people. Pity.

More poignantly: Why are Americans spoiling for a fight with China? Are we not wallowing in our own bloody mess in Mesopotamia? Cheered initially and overwhelmingly by most Americans, that mess has created upwards of four million refugees and killed Iraqis in the thousands. The war’s material destruction is horrifying; its moral damage lasting.

I would have said:
If you get your lunch money taken from you and you are sent home with a wedgie by a poor little turd world country like Iraq, then you have no buissness messing with China.
