Or maybe not. There is someone else who is superior to Buchanan.

I would stress that small thing known as economic theory if you are to vote for someone.

Hopefully no one on this blog needs to be told exactly what would happen if we favored even more anti-trade legislation…

It is not possible to find a candidate with whom I agree on everything. One must choose which issues are most important and go from there. Buchanan is right on enough important issues that I would gladly vote for him again. He’s a great writer, thinker, and patriot. America would be better served with him in the oval office than either of the two clowns vying for it. So there.

I too voted for Pat back in 2000 and would probably do so again if he were on the ballot tomorrow. He was/is authentically anti-war/pro-republic – as opposed to Obama. It’s amazing how delusional so many on the Left are about Obama. Between the 2 men, there is no question who is truly anti-war/anti-empire.

Yikes. You voted for Buchanan? Maybe you should buy only American – and then add some extra money to the cost. Buchanan is a mercantilist. Of course, we fought a Revolutionary War because of this. Of course, mercantilism makes everyone poorer.

Of course, Buchanan and his voters (and followers) understand this.

Ahh well – being correct on two out of three points isn’t that bad.
