I just visited the ‘Official Borat Website’ and laughed a good one. Especially humorous is his response to the Kazakhstan government’s criticism of his movie. “In response to Mr. Ashykbayev’s comments, I’d like to state I have no connection with Mr. Cohen and fully support my Government’s decision to sue this Jew.”

Hilarious.

And good call, IM, on anatomy. Makes me appreciate my gifted husband. Must start watching him walk away more often.

[For which we apprecaite you, Huggs.]

Thanks for telling me when it’s OK to laugh.

They had a trailer of “Borat” and I couldn’t believe what I saw. That movie looks so twisted that the DVD may find its way into my collection!

[He isn’t; it’s a spoof.]

I told him I’d wanted to visit Kazakhstan for a while now. He replied, “For God’s sake why?”

BTW what Ali calls the title of the song is “Nie moge zrobic domofon.” Which as far as I can tell means, “I can’t work the intercom.”

Who cares if the Kazakhs are mad? I doubt if they would worry about our feelings under similar circumstances.

[Lighten up! Why lapse into O’Reilly mode?! This isn’t politics; it’s humor. Ali/Sasha/Borat–all are brilliant and original.]
