All I can say is that the Muslims are just going to have to get over it! Is it me or are they the most easily offended people on earth? It would be one thing if their argument had any basis of truth to it, however the argument they’ve articulated is nonesense. The bones of the patriarchs of Israel are in Hebron. Mr. Netanyahu was correct in adding the second most holy site to Jews to the list of 150 national heritage sites.

BTW did you know that David and Solomon were also Palestinian? I really need a saracasm font!

Again. So what? Everybody stands on their heads because the Muslims are mad. Does any serious thinking person really care? Except for the Jews who are in the line of fire the rest of us should ignore it.

“For there is a hand on the throne of the Eternal, [that there shall be] a war for the Lord against Amalek from generation to generation.”

Esther Chapter 3 verses 5,6,8

5 When Haman saw that Mordechai would not kneel or bow before him, Haman was filled with wrath. 6 But he thought it contemptible to kill only Mordechai, for they had informed him of Mordechai’s nationality. Haman sought to annihilate all the Jews, Mordechai’s people, throughout Achashveirosh’s entire kingdom…
8 Haman said to King Achashverosh, “There is one nation scattered and dispersed among the nations throughout the provinces of your kingdom, whose laws are unlike those of any other nation…

And all of that was long before the Palestinian Jesus! (Palestinian Moses, anyone?)

Should read “united against the Likud government.” [Where? Not my text.]

There can be no dispute of the roots of Christians in the Holy Land — the root of Jesse, the order of Melchizedek, the Mother of Christ, G-d, our Father, as also the Father of the patriarchs,Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Pope Benedict’s recent book, Jesus of Nazareth, assumes and asserts this obvious truth time and time again. At one time 25 % of the Palestinian population living in or near the Holy Land was Christian while now it is probably less than 4 or 5%.(maybe less) Recently I met a Palestinian Christian who was selling olive wood figurines that he and his family had been sculpting and crafting for generations. He spoke of the desolation of his family and communities during this last generation. I assumed from his talk that the Moslems were at war with Christians in the Holy Land as much as they were with the Jewish inhabitants. Is this a mistaken notion? Does the Jewish government in Israel have a better relationship with Palestinian Christians than with the Moslem population or are both Palestinian Christians and Moslems united against the Likud government? I thank you/readers for their response in advance. I have always respected your clear and honest comments about Israel and the tough spot they find themselves in for their very survival.
