Nevertheless, the biometric ID cards EXPIRE! (Why??). So when it is time to renew, I (or an impostor) shows up with the expired biometric card, 3 federal picture ID’s, 2 American passports, a sealed birth certificate, and the fingerprints of Myron Pauli. However, the security apparatchiks demand proof of Pauli’s identity by seeing …. a Virginia driver’s license! At this point, I (or the imposter) asked to see the rule requiring the driver’s license and the Guardians of our Security threw the person out and filed a complaint (but how could it be me??). In another display of “huh?”, you need the biometric card to enter some Navy facilities while other Navy facilities do not recognize it. And even with ID’s and a security clearance, if I visit my research sponsor, I have to empty my pockets and go through a metal detector at an address Orwellianly labeled “One Liberty Center”! And all this in a country that allows 1 million illegals to cross the border every year.
