According to Fitch, Israel’s stable banking sector,... IM "Stable" perhaps but certainly not honest since fractional reserve banking in a government enforced monopoly money is dishonest and OPPRESSES the poor. The Jews, of course, are a highly talented people. But how much of their present "stability" is based on US subsidies? I would expect Jews of all people to be bound by principle. Perhaps they are; TO THEIR OWN MAN-MADE principles. Perhaps Zimbabwe will figure out honest/stable/PROFITABLE banking first. A pity since all the clues necessary to do it correctly are in the Torah. [You are pretty clueless when it comes to Israel if you think that US aid, a fraction of the country's GDP, accounts for its high-tech success. In future, please do not post comments about fractional reserve banking when it relates not at all to the topic. Even if YOU think everything ought to be reduced to that topic.]

Thanks for linking your well written essay. Some of Tony Klug’s opposition dealt with particular locations of the wall – which (not be an expert on the geography/demographics there) may have some validity. As for being an obstacle to peace – tearing down the Berlin Wall was trivial once it was clear that Communism was not going to be a permanent mold in Germany. The end of Jihadist Judenrein ideology will effectively end any need for a wall. But the end of the wall by itself is likely to just bring more killing.
Sadly, what ought to be obvious is completely hidden from the Ostrich mentality of most politically correct self-destructional delusional Westerners.

It is nice to have a working security wall. When one has that in place, both the most militant ultra-Orthodox "settlers" and the idiotic concept of the "peace process" with Fatah/Hamas can go to the back burner, except in so far as the media is concerned. It also appears that sound economics and high tech intellectual capabilities are more durable than gaudy 50 story luxury hotels in Las Vegas or Dubai.
