(Even Hirohito tried that in 1945!) Think of that! The irony is that such a move would split Israeli public opinion up since many or most Israelis would be happy to leave Gaza and let it be a normal country if it would cease terror attacks, importing weapons, and firing missiles. The truth is that Israeli damage is not UNACCEPTABLE to the Gazans but that giving up the Jihad is UNACCEPTABLE. Hence, Gaza will remain the stinking cesspool it has been for the last 61 years – too dangerous to allow for free access in and out of, impoverished, and run by thugs obsessed with the destruction of the Zionist Entity.
