Kennedy, held a low opinion of Martin Luther King, the man America has since deified. Jackie was unafraid to say as much.

I have the tapes. In her own dulcet tones Jackie berates MLK as an awful man who was no friend to her husband.

Spells out in a nutshell what most people used to know about MLK, and felt not the slightest compunction for despising the man because of it. Now, all too many of those people (and all of their offspring) have been cowed into believing the beautiful lie of St Martin. Adhering to the truth takes courage. Speaking the truth is often heroic. It took guts to write this essay and guts to publish/post it. Congratulations.
