Unlike Al Gore who personally uses tons of energy, Obama’s family (on his dad’s side) do NOT use up a lot of energy per person. Perhaps this is the good life Obama wishes in the “Dreams of my father” – a good Kenyan standard of living. { I’ll also add a good word for Biden – he believes in Windpower – and has plenty to spare }.

We get to pick whether a partial spending freeze with continued Empire-building wars or a tax increase with no limitations on spending will stop the deficit. Oh, and both of them think pouring government money down the rathole of alternative energy, and subsidizing our bankrupt automakers will bring the economy back, and THAT will bring in enough revenue to balance the budget.

I can’t go on to describe any more of it. I’m sorry I watched it.

The earth weighs every bit as much as it ever did and then some. Energy can be depleted except not in the next 5000 years or more if nuclear is allowed. There is enough natural gas (in the form of methy-hydrate on the ocean beds) to power the world for the next 3000 years. Rabid environmentalists really need a life, I suggest the Author thereof.
