Ilana – actually, Iraq’s Jews got the boot around 1948 – 1951 by the friendly pro-British monarchy (they were better off when the Ottoman Turks ran the place and Baghdad was 35% Jewish 100 year ago – so much for “refugees”!!).

It was the remaining Iraqi CHRISTIANS that have been decimated since the US-led coalition “liberated” Iraq. Ethnic cleansing, 4 million internal refugees, 2 million exiles living in slums throughout the Arab world… – all legacies of Bush’s liberation.

I don’t think we can predict the exact nature of the multi-nation, multi-ethnic, multi-year catastophes that will occur after we bomb and/or occupy Iran – but some hideous mess is likely to occur.

All those who want Regime Change in America should welcome the IranWar, through which a desperate Israel will attempt to dispose of both Iran and the foot-dragging Obama…and enable the election of neo-con stooge Romney. Today Netanyahu got a Cabinet majority for an attack on Iran at any time, and 4 more American minesweepers are headed for the Persian Gulf. But this war – probably to begin c. Julu-August – will also spike and hold oil at >$200/barrel for months (c. $10/gal at the pumps), spark a global run on the dollar and its removal as reserve currency, and lead to hyperinflation and PonziCollapse in America. Soon to be followed by Martial Law and Civil War. This is how Empires die. Prepare accordingly.

OK – lets drop some Mother Of all Projectiles – now we mess up Iran and the Iranian Kurds want to join the Iraqi, Turkish, and Syrian Kurds … and the Azeris want to hook with Azerbejan … and maybe Iranians start a mass slaughter of Iran’s Jewish population bringing Israel into the mess [Not far fetch, El Segundo. Since you are away from home and not bogged-down by teen-minding, use your considerable research skills to look up and tell us what has become of the Iraqi Jews, once safe under Saddam] … and the Baluchi population that borders Pakistan wants autonomy … and that spreads next door to Pakistan that REALLY HAS NUKES … – yes this is all so well thought up. And in 2025, we will be still “training” the friendly Iranians who seem to shoot on occasion at us …
