Reading posts on Israeli sites [please supply a sample.–IM], it appears that the only thing holding back the Israeli armed forces is the weak-kneed leadership at the top (Read: Olmert, Livni, and Barak). Why the political leadership in the West obdurately closes its eyes to both Hamas’s and the PA’s stated goal of eliminating the “Zionist entity” from the face of the earth is troubling, to say the least.
