The name of her and her husband’s vocation; which consists of taking care of wounded hawks, falcons, etc. escapes me at the moment. She has described the extreme difficulty one has with bird maintenance and that people should not adopt birds as one does a dog or cat; simply because it is so labor intense. I admire those who are willing to spend that much time and effort to nurture a friendship with an avian buddy.
