Saudis, who have a very stable dictatorship, and economy, are building up their military for some reason; are in reality only trying to survive. I appreciate the education.

Hezbollah gave Israel a bloody nose during the ’06 strike into S. Lebanon and, thanks to Iranian aid and training, is even stronger now. So, to cut Iran/Hezbollah land supply line (break Shia Crescent) – as part of the run-in to the IranWar – US is supporting Sunni/Moslem Bro/Al Queda in Syria. More proof it’s all about Israel and the petrodollar, not about “fighting terrorism”. Of course, as you point out, the Saudis are playing the situation for all its worth: the survival of their own bloody regime. Who holds the most cards? And will time the war to dispose of both Iran and the recalcitrant Obama? Israel, w nukes plus gold.

The truth is out there in her columns and others, and in our comments to her columns, and others. But, you know, we mainly preach to the choir. We mainly preach and listen to each other. [See post update.] But in politics as in religion, the main thing is to bear the testimony, so that no one can say the truth was not told to them. If they choose not to look for it, we can hardly make them. I guess I have to take some comfort in something, because frankly, Scarlet, all of this makes me very uncomfortable about the future.

The machinations of the left and their fellow travelers, the corrupt and the greedy and the power-crazed, is not, in their favorite term, sustainable. It will not hold. But between now and the time when it all falls down, things can get pretty nasty. I take comfort only in this: many countries have been subjugated by tyrants, but none of them have been as free as America. I don’t think it will work for the tyrants very long. As I say, it’s not much of a comfort, but it’s mine.

Israel is a Red Herring or Straw Man. 90% of the whole thing is bogus. let me make a simple list. Check it off.
1: Iran and Syria equals Shia (your statement)
2: Saudi Arabia= Sunni and Habi headquarters.
3: 9-11, Mostly Saudis.
4: Saudi Arabia, Oil money- dictator, sets the production and price. Largest competitor- Iran. (Israel has no oil)
5: Every country that has seen revolution is Sunni-Habi.
6: Libya revolts, NATO helps- becomes Sunni-Habi.
7: Canada offers us, Keystone Pipeline. First objector- Saudi Arabia, immediately environments and Obama block the pipeline.
Are we beginning to see a pattern here.
While the useful idiots are pointing their fingers at Israel, the Saudi Arabians are stealing the whole Middle East with the US helping them. The Saudis will have conquered the ME without firing one shot.

Isramerica needs to take down the Shia regime in Syria in order to better its chances of defeating Iran and changing the regime in Tehran, which is dropping the Petrodollar…and edging toward nuclear weapons acquisition. While the latter may or may not endanger Israel, an Iranian victory/U.S. defeat will kill the dollar and with it the entire American debt-ponzi economy. Desperate times, and it looks like RussChiran is winning Round I.

Today, we live under a tyranny that is worst than the one described as life in Russia. Sometimes, I wonder if those stories were true or just wishful thinking by our media and leaders.

But you know, if Putin’s actions called a halt to the dearest wishes of McCain, Graham, Bolton, et al., then I say God bless ’em!

I’ve given up on any adult leadership coming out of DC, so if it takes a former commie to look after our best interests – at least in this case – wonderful! Enough is (and long since has been!) enough!

In order to do so, it does NOT follow its OWN constitution that requires a vote of Congress but instead asks countries C and D who are 2000 and 4000 miles away from country B and not threatened by country B for PERMISSION!

And, in the final irony, the main opposition to the American President trying to interfere in Syria are even more fanatic and bloodthirsty than the incumbent warmonger.

I sometimes contemplate a revolt in America along the lines of secession, and a resultant crackdown by the feds. Who will the rebels call on to meddle in our national affairs to save them? What will the feds say when they have to start shooting their own citizens? For wanting the democracy that the feds will have stolen from them?

Clinton, Bush, and now Comrade Owe have sided with the radicals of muslim persuasion for two decades, and in return they spit in our faces. And then we have replaced an orderly tyranny with a radical, insane tyranny. Good job, ain’t it?

What is this really all about? Power, domination, new world order? Can you spell “oil” boys and girls? Can you see what is being done at home while the regime keeps you focused on foreign entanglements?

As Stephen Stills used to say, “There’s somethin’ happening here. What it is ain’t exactly clear.” And somebody doesn’t want it made clear. And the guy who does want to make it clear is belittled and ignored and made light of by those who prefer darkness. The old doctor from Texas, Ron Paul.

I would prefer that our troops march on Washington rather than Damascus, or any number of other places the regime is sending them. I have had enough lies from the regime, enough meddling, enough swagger and interfering. And besides, I can’t afford it.
