Not only did this violate the 4th Amendment (in the case of all Americans) but in the case of Senator Paul, it apparently violated Article 1 Section 6. (Via Lew Rockwell.com.)

Steve – how about we pass an amendment to the Constitution that reads:

“The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”

I detest the TSA with every fiber of my being. They squander resources, do nothing to improve security, and make a mockery of our 4th Amendment rights. These TSA goons need to find real jobs. End the TSA. Now.
