We gave de Klerk 30 x(1 Rand) coins as we were betrayed. I came back to civvie street (civilization) a changed man, bitter and angry. 3 years doing my duty for nothing (Short term service). I spent over 20 months in SWA (Now called Namibia) and Angola.

Now we fight another battle each and every day while still fighting the old one.

I usually post under my real name, but I felt that “Unknown Soldier” says it all.
