US Constitution Article 1 Section 1:

“All legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States”

Presumably, offshore drilling, not occurring in a state border, is the subject of CONGRESSIONAL regulation. The Executive authority is to administer the laws set by the Congress.
Thus, there is no authority for Presidents to issue any moratoria. Naturally, most Republicans, who worshipped the Bush-Cheney Power Grabbing Junta, have no moral standing to object when Obama follows in their sullied footsteps.

If you really…REALLY…believe in the “rule of law”, then you should be among those of us who demand that Barry Soetoro show his true birth certificate as anyone else would. Why would anyone hire attorneys and spend millions to prevent that from happening…hello?
Let’s unite on this. This is the highest example of proving one’s belief in the rule-of-law.

The older song version of a popular, Texas favorite pop / soda said, “I’m a Pepper. You’re a Pepper. Wouldn’t you like to be a Pepper too?” So, now, I say, “I’m a CRACKER. You’re a Cracker. King Shabaz, wouldn’t you like to be a CRACKER too?” If you have watched the video, you’ll see that Mr. Shabaz is nearly foaming at the mouth and is seemingly experiencing what appears to be an epileptic seizure. It is either a result of an uncontrollable ABSOLUTE HATRED or a cleverly orchestrated act. However, if he takes his “statements” from theatrical speech to a level that is seen by “a reasonable person” as truly threatening, then the Police, the FBI, and the Courts need to speak with him and soon for he will have crossed the line.

To all of you whites, if you look dinner, you will be eaten. This even includes you politically correct weenies who have been conditioned to make excuses for the blacks and make excuses for our president and worry and wring your hands over the perpetual victims like the Panthers and their ilk. If it comes down to them kicking down doors and killing whites you won’t get any more mercy than the white rednecks you despise. You may be just wonderful and have an autographed picture of Oprah, but you’re still white and you will be just as dead. The aforementioned redneck will still be alive because he will be armed and will have no preconcieved notion that he is dealing with some misunderstood but noble savage.

I believe if the Republicans take the House this fall, we’ll see subpoena-mania, and committee-hearings mania. I’m certain that this case will be among the first investigated in Congress.

A special prosecutor should be assigned to investigate this nonsense and convict Holder and everyone underneath him who was complicit in this decision. I’m not holding my breath for that to happen. The Republicans aren’t going to touch it because the Dems will spin it and make it look like the Republicans are the racists.
