Ilana, After I purchased and read your book, I tried to write a Comment on Amazon, but unless I am grossly mistaken, Amazon would not allow me to write a one unless I had already made a purchase. I purchased the book from the other source – Publisher.

I read this book with a mixture of glee, dismay, heartache and righteous anger. Gleeful that Ms Mercer gives the pseudo-intellectual political peanut gallery their long-deserved come-uppance; dismayed to read of America’s steady descent into the dark abyss that my own country, South Africa, currently plumbs; heartsore at the travails …of the embattled Afrikaner-Boers in their own Beloved Country; and angry at the political and racial naivety of the mainstream “liberal” media, here exposed. Those who “sold us down the river” or as the book title implies, plunged South Africa’s people “Into the Cannibal’s Pot” must read it, and weep…

Ilana I purchased your Cannibal book via AZ Kindle and cannot stop reading it! I find it amazing how far this destruction of such an advanced civilization has progressed and that the Afrikaners still believe they can continue to exist in their former country. This book is a must read for all Americans and I'm recommending it profusely. [Would you put this exact comment on Amazon, please? The best way to raise awareness of the issue and the book's angle is via Amazon. I appreciate and reply to every comment I get. But readers here already know the power of this pen. let others know via Amazon.]

I like Tom D's column and I need to get that book read (and reviewed on Amazon). I hope they get you back on LRC.com as a columnist. Again, I do not understand the reason for your "banishment" from Lew Rockwell's columnists (was it failing to identify the "Zionist Entity" as the cause of all Evil in the Universe??) because it was there years ago that I first found your writing.

Democracy? Like most Americans I always confused democracy with our constitional republic. The former was the most often used term and the latter almost never. I also thought that inside every Afghan goat thief, Hottentot cannibal, Eskimo and Burmese snake charmer was an American trying to see the light of day. Well, not so. The United States might be in a position to help the third world but to expect the South Africas of the world to become little “Americas” is naive at best. Of course, right now it appears we can’t even help ourselves.
