Dates represent when a city was added to the list, not when it became or allegedly became a sanctuary city. Other notations may indicate the source of information. Cities without a date were added prior to May, 2007. Some sanctuary cities may not have yet been identified and therefore not listed here. You are encouraged to perform additional research regarding the status of your own city. The presence of illegal aliens in a city does not necessarily indicate that a city is a “sanctuary city.”

Turns out that everyone (cops and reporters) was focusing on Congressman’s Condit sex life to ignore this 19 year old illegal-alien thief / addict / attempted rapist from Salvador who was attacking women in Rock Creek Park. Interesting reading. By the way, when he was sentenced to 10 years for molesting women, no one bothered to even mention (at sentencing) that he was in the country illegally!
By the way, he STILL doesn’t speak English.
Thanks for publishing this list, Ilana. We’re hoping to get out of So. Cal. within the next two years or so… and I will do my best not to move to any “sanctuary city.”
