There are plenty of truly horrible government bureaucracies around: the TSA is but one of many. But, none of this really matters long-term if the country dissolves in a financial armageddon, which is a distinct possibility. The folks in the Tea Party have, I’m sure, lots of diverse opinions on many subjects, but the one unifying concern is for fiscal sanity. I’m glad they are not getting distracted.

My son and I are boycotting the airlines, which means our relationship is reduced to the phone & skype. I have contacted Delta to let them know how enraged I am that they would allow their business to suffer at the hands of TSA – I hated flying before this happened with the rude treatment, cattle cars jammed tight. Now it is is simply intolerable. I wrote my new congressman (very conservative good guy) who is on the Homeland Security committee to see what can be done. He is sympathetic, but only one voice of reason amongst the moron morass.

Bush 2’s DHS Chief serpent man Chertoff is a principal in the company that sells the naked scanners. They’re all in cahoots to make us into simpering sheepish slaves. What else to do short of giving them a reason to send me to one of the new internment camps? This very well may end up being my retirement plan….

Our legislators, judges, prosecutors, the whole system of law enforcement, while operating legally seldom operate lawfully.

That’s what the general population of the US, in their ignorance of law, have come to accept and expect.

Unless Americans understand who they are and act on their power, the country will continue to slide toward totalitarianism.

Have a nice day.

Freedom-Justice-Equality-Preservation of Rights are not part of the agenda. “In God we trust, all others pay cash,” that’s it in a nutshell. I’m not sure they can even cover that part yet.

As for the Tea Party, what is it? Is it Sarah Palin, Dick Armey, what? What particular principles does it have? It seems to be a stalking horse for the usual conservative hypocrites who decided in 2010 to tap the energy of angry voters and allow a few unconventional types to vent a bit in public while the standard batch of hypocrites regained power from the Democrats.

I cannot understand most Americans. I dread flying although I have to say that the treatment of people by Delta Airlines (not just myself) that I saw last time I flew was even shabbier than the treatment of people by the TSA goons. I try to minimize flying as something akin to a root canal – yet there are obviously people who are comfortable with the shoes off / no liquids / randomly delayed flights / surly gate agents and all the other abuses heaped upon the flying public.
