Stand-Up Guys Jay & Jeselnik

Barack Obama, Comedy & Humor, Hollywood, Propaganda, Socialism

Those who don’t follow late-night TV (check) fail to understand why the nitwork that employs comedian and late-night host Jay Leno is threatening to retire or fire him. Whenever I catch a glimpse of Leno, he’s on fire. Always is. Alas, I was unaware that even American comedy has been tainted by the left-liberal politics of its purveyors. Jay does what American journalists ought to try: skewer everyone that needs it.

At the 2010 annual “Sycophant’s Supper,” Leno’s brutal barbs were met with silent disapproval:

“President Obama loves to socialize — health care, car companies”, or that ”he has the most diverse staff at the White House. They represent every ward in Chicago.”

Breitbart’s Big Hollywood reported (back in May of 2013; shows you how up to date I am about this stuff) that, “It’s too late for Leno to save his job, which will fall to Obama sycophant Jimmy Fallon next year.”

Fallon? That feminized fool? People watch him? Apparently so.

I’m surprised the comedy community has not yet banished Anthony Jeselnik, my favorite stand-up satirist. He’s easy on the eye too.

Although politics isn’t really his shtick, I hope Jeselnik “stands up” and fills the Leno gap with a smattering of Obama material. If Jeselnik can do rape and Holocaust jokes, why not Obama jokes? Is the leap so huge?

UPDATED: Some Things Are Unforgivable (No-Fault Forgiveness Folly)

Barack Obama, Christianity, Healthcare, Judaism & Jews, Justice

What is with Christians that they hunger to forgive evil, usually without any evidence of expiation?

It’s hard to tell what’s more obscene: The idea that one can apologize for the hubris and deceit that is Obama and his health care, or the actual need some have for an apology from an entity so evil that he would toy with the lives of millions as though they were insects and he God.

Some things are unforgivable.

For what it’s worth, here’s Hussein’s “apology” for the pox he has unleashed on the land:

“I am sorry that they are finding themselves in this situation based on assurances they got from me. Obviously we didn’t do a good enough job in terms of how we crafted the law … And, you know, that’s something I regret. That’s something we’re gonna do everything we can to get fixed … We’re looking at a range of options.”

UPDATE (11/8): “No-Fault Forgiveness Can Be Fatal”:

[The] all-too familiar spasms of no-fault forgiveness …are more a distillation of the mass culture than a reflection of any real religious sensibility. If anything, they are a sign of people adrift in a moral twilight zone.
If punishment is a declaration of those values we wish to uphold, then pardoning [someone] before he has made amends and paid for his crime perverts and subverts those values. Redemption can be achieved only when the consequences of one’s actions are faced. …
In the Jewish perspective, justice always precedes and is a prerequisite for mercy. A Jew is not obliged to forgive a transgressor unless he has ceased his harmful actions, compensated the victim for the harm done, and asked forgiveness. Even then, he can but is not obligated to forgive. This is both ethically elegant and psychologically prudent. It upholds the notion of right and wrong and lends meaning and force to the process of asking for and extending forgiveness. And it doesn’t mandate the incongruous emotion of compassion for someone who has … committed other unforgivable crimes.

Who’s The Biggest Liar Of Them All?

Barack Obama, Bush, Iraq, Morality, WMD

In this scribe’s opinion, “Obama’s assurances of keeping your insurance plan if you like it” is on par only with Genghis Bush’s deceit about the imperative of going to war with Iraq. Pat Buchanan thinks that Obama’s rank lie “now enters presidential history alongside George H.W. Bush’s ‘Read my lips! No new taxes,’ Bill Clinton’s ‘I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky,’ and George W. Bush’s tales of yellow cake in Niger and hidden arsenals of WMDs.”

Judge Andrew Napolitano begs to differ:

… According to Napolitano, President Obama’s lie is the most egregious. “Richard Nixon told a lie about his personal knowledge of a third-rate break-in, burglary. Bill Clinton told a lie about a personal sexual liaison. Barack Obama has told a lie repeatedly, readily, consistently, systematically, over and over again that will affect the wealth, the health of millions of innocent Americans. The first two […] are so insignificant compared to these lies.”
On today’s Your World, Neil Cavuto drew a comparison between Bill Clinton’s denial that he had a relationship with Monica Lewinsky to President Obama’s assertion to the American public that they could keep their health care plans.

Judge Napolitano weighed in saying that the president “doesn’t have to worry legally about lying.”

“Even though the president and the Justice Department can prosecute people, Americans, who lie to the government, the president and the whole governmental apparatus are free to lie to us,” the judge said.

In terms of sheer economic destruction, I suspect that Obama and Bush are tied in ignominy. Christopher Conover of Duke University estimates that “129 million, or 68 percent of Americans, may not be able to keep their current health care plans once ObamaCare is fully implemented. The study also suggests that 18 to 50 million people will lose their plans altogether.”

More on how Conover arrived at these figures, at The Daily Caller.

BHOCare: Wealth Distribution From Red States To Blue

Barack Obama, Healthcare, Republicans, Socialism

We know that Obamacare aims to distribute wealth from young to old, from healthy to sick, from men to women and from rural, less-populated regions in the country to urban centers. Now we learn that this awful, awful man has packed another kind of wealth distribution into this legislative monstrosity: from red states to blue states.

Reports Fox News:

according to price data compiled by the Heritage Foundation … In red states, premiums for 27-year-olds rose an average of 78% on ObamaCare exchanges, whereas in “blue states” that voted for Obama, premiums rose a smaller 50%. …

The reason?

… if you’re in a lightly regulated state today, all of a sudden it’s going from a lightly regulated system to a heavily regulated system, and that drives up a lot of the costs,” Avik Roy, a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute who specializes in health policy, told FoxNews.com.
