TSA Solution: Name ‘Em And Shame ‘Em

This week’s column had been titled “It’s Hard Out Here for a Pimp.” After all, it is about The Transportation and Security Administration. Thankfully, writers have editors. The following is from “TSA Solution: Name ‘Em And Shame ‘Em,” my new, and newly named, WND.COM column:

“… If Michelle Obama had experienced a gut reaction to the ordeal inflicted by her husband’s administration (begun under his predecessor) on travelers and their tots — she was not letting on. The First Lady, as you know, is in touch with her gut — and the gut of every kid in the country. The FLOTUS of the fat-based initiatives ‘cares’ enough to decide what America’s bloated babes will ingest, but not enough to weigh-in when their bodies are being invaded by state workers. …

… It’s safe to say that the moms of the Fox News Blond Squad were with The FLOTUS. One of these interchangeable females implied that the interminable complainers at the terminals were no more than an insignificant group of noise-makers. Kirsten Powers, a liberal member of that squadron, expressed her satisfaction with the porn protocol. Her sympathies, she said, go out to TSA workers.

Yes, ‘It’s Hard Out Here for a Pimp.’ On a more cheerful note, let me suggest a theme song to perfectly capture the TSA’s mission and mien. I give you the hip hop band ‘Three 6 Mafia'”:

The complete column is “TSA Solution: Name ‘Em And Shame ‘Em,” now on WND.COM.

My libertarian manifesto, Broad Sides: One Woman’s Clash With A Corrupt Society, is now available on Kindle.

A Happy New Year to all,

I agree and I have been calling for just this against the tsp and all thug cops when they do wrong too. The main response has been that this would not be polite. PC rules. I think we need their names and addresses posted so we can let their neighbors see what perverts live near them. Let’s stage our tea party protest at their homes. We will not take back America until we take it to their homes and get personally in their faces. The time to be polite is over and will not work as these folks are not polite and honest people.

    Your appeal is to whom?

    To what end?

I hear over and over again that if Americans simply did so and so then….

Your appeal is to such an insignificant number of Americans that the outcome is determined in advance. The Democrats and Republicans know there arguments are not sound; therefore, their appeals are in the form of agitprop, which is designed for consumption by the mob.

Although I concur with much of what you say, your arguments are as statically moot as those of Congressman Paul. If Just War cannot not be understood by the mob to prevent the abortion that is Afghanistan, then how can appeals to the Bill of Rights or repeals of the Sixteenth and Seventeenth be understood?

It not a matter of what American’s destination is, but how quickly the train reaches its destination. In other words, mob rules.

That’s a cool idea Ilana…expose the perpetrators on a personal level…no legions of TSA agents to back them up…beautiful.

The whole TSA scan and fondle approach as a means of preventing terrorism is a sham. Political correctness and our statist leaders drunk with power have created this two headed TSA approach. As Lord Action said Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Since someone might be offended if we profile passengers, the first head of the monster “impartial” back scatter x-ray technology is used; if something doesn’t look right on the scan then second head of the monster, groping, can be used just to be sure. You know it’s all in the name safety. To quote Benjamin Franklin “They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety”

I will still continue to promote the Israeli approach. It’s a much smarter approach based on historical data, behavioral analysis, and a reasoned set of protocols. I have experienced both the American and Israeli approaches and the Israeli approach is superior. Applying resources to potential targets that matter seems reasonable. It also allows the Israelis to check on other things such as the protection of state secrets.

I’m tired of hearing that I give up a lot of my rights because I purchase a plane ticket, as flying is a privilege not a right. Let’s assume for a moment that I’m willing to buy into that argument. At what point does my purchased privilege of an airline ticket give TSA the right to scan me to a level that can tell the TSA agent whether I’m circumcised or not? And then to add insult to injury examine me in a way reserved for health screening by my Doctor, just to be sure? And for those who have been “damaged” falsely for having the unfortunate experience of having forms of cancer that require bags to capture body waste to survive, what is their recourse?

Yes I want our airways to be as safe as possible but, I believe the US government has gone way off course on this one. I would rather have a better trained set of professionals profiling passengers, even if it includes me because of my Middle Eastern features, than this arbitrary, sexual harassment approach we are using now. The approach we are currently using tranples all over the constitution and our dignity.

Good article Ilana. Begin Sarcasm (BTW doesn’t everyone know that to get on Fox News all you have to do is call Roger Ailes, get an appointment, then discuss with him which show or shows you want to appear. It’s just that simple isn’t it?) End sarcasm 🙂

Due to my medical conditions, I have not been able to fly for a few years, I have Multiple Sclerosis, and flying does not go with my current regimen of medications.
That said, I would not go through what is necessary to fly today, because I have lost all semblence of patience with political correctness, and that, in the end, is the only reason we have this system which is offensive to a great height in its invasiveness.
We could follow the example of the most successful Nation in keeping their skies safe, but then the world would hate us just like the whole world hates Israel, oops, we’ve already reached that point I’d say, so why don’t we tell them all to pack some sand, and do the right thing?
It is precisely because our quislings and minions of government like us angry and incapable of doing anything about what we are angry about. It gives them power, in a world where their skill sets won’t get them better than a job at McDonalds, and of course, with a government agency.
Ilana is dead on target, take pictures of the agents, not the victims, and post them everywhere you can, I’m writing this to the younger generation who are accustomed to posting everything, and will get such things out in places I don’t even know about. And follow her advise, ostracize all those who are posted as TSA molesters, don’t speak to them, turn your back on them if they are neighbors, make them pay for “just following orders” and for not being “sovereign citizens”, which they could choose to be, and could then question the authority of those appointed over them.
Complain to the airline you fly on, each and every time, make those executives unconfortable and concerned for their future job, make them know you would rather be “profiled”, and those fitting it, questioned deeper, then have your rights, those “un-alienable rights” just snatched right away from you, and if you protest, be presumed to be a criminal, either stand on principle, hold firm to The Constitution, and make sure you have time to make an issue out of it.
You will never retain any of your rights you are not willing to stand on, and fight. We are a Sovereign People, but only if we choose the path Sovereign People take, we are never sovereign if we meekly bow down when confronted, and just do as we are told, it costs to stand on Convictions, and meet the price demanded, but remain unwavering on what you believe, because if you do waver, they are not convictions, but at most strongly held beliefs, strongly held, but subject to subjegation, or else worth the cost of fighting. Those who make it impossible to reform our criminal and out of control government through the lawful process of protest and the demand of The People are those who make it necessary for revolution to be done violently, even when most who will bear the full price much prefer a peaceable re-establishment of our Republic.
It is better to rest in a grave, and have stood for one’s beliefs, than to live in misery at the behest of those who drive one, and be forced to live according to their bidding and go to the grave knowing one did nothing for the betterment of their own posterity, and are responsible for the chains which they will wear.

You are right. Over time, the only people left willing to work at the warped TSA will be certifiable perverts. Makes me wonder if naming and shaming them wouldn’t make them actually gloat. In my Open Letter to TSA Employees (at the above link), I make it clear they are being left high and dry by their superiors, that committing sex crimes on the orders of those superiors, will not get them off prosecution in the end, any more than Pvt. English escaped prosecution over Abu Ghraib, even though she was only acting on orders, too.

My own solution is to render the body scanners moot, by ruining their prize collection of imagery of naked Americans, using metallic print apparel. I’ve been having more fun than I’ve had in years making the designs, and I offer a method for like-minded people to participate in designing them, too.

What I do is this: I choose the pat down and look them in the eye and say, “Hitler and Stalin could not do it alone. They had to have enablers – people just doing their jobs.”
This is the street punk in the White House laughing his ass off after turning the late great USA into a giant porn theater! [Bush began the Homeland Security abuses.]

    May God save our nation!
