UPDATED: Ron Promises To Rock the Establishment

Constitution,Elections,Military,Republicans,Ron Paul

As if we doubted it, Ron Paul promises that he is “in this race for the long haul.” The following is from a circular sent out by WND.COM:

Ron Paul’s constitutional conservative credentials are unmatched.

He is:

*** 100% Pro-Second Amendment. Paul has received a lifetime “A” rating from the NRA, and I was given the “Defender of the Second Amendment Award” by Gun Owners of America in 2011. I’ve voted against gun control – EVERY time.

*** 100% Pro-Right to Work. Paul has never caved to the union bosses’ pressure. I voted to defeat Big Labor’s “Card Check” scheme, and I will continue the fight I’ve led as a congressman to the White House by fighting for passage of a National Right to Work Act.

*** 100% Pro-Health Freedom. Paul has introduced legislation in Congress to repeal ObamaCare’s hated individual mandate. As President, I will order all federal agencies to stop enforcing any rules and regulations related to ObamaCare, and I will veto any bills that fund this unconstitutional powergrab.

While Mitt Romney receives his most contributions from Wall Street, the top three donors to Ron Paul’s campaign by occupation are U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy.

Paul has received more support from active duty military than all my opponents combined, and my other donors are everyday grassroots Patriots like you who just want to enjoy the full blessings of freedom and pass them on to the next generation.

I too have studied Ron Paul and heard is heroic defense of limited government in an era of abuse and chicanery in Washington. He is against starting foreign wars if it is not for retaliation for injustice done to us. I don’t know anyone else like him.

Ron Paul vs. the Romneycare – Obamacare “mainstream” is best explained by a recent article “What if elections don’t matter” by Judge Andrew Napolitano:

Media idiots like Stephanopolis dismiss Paul since he is not going to win too many primaries/caucuses and do not see that this is just a round in a very long process to undo the last 75 years of the Welfare-Warfare State. This is not Santorum vs. Gingrich fighting over who runs the Department of Education and hands out the agribusiness subsidies or Romney vs. Obama on who gets to channel federal reserve funny money to Goldman Sachs.

Ron Paul is the RINO radical tilting against pro-status-quo “conservatism” of Big Government. The socialists were content to enact their program over generations (Teddy Roosevelt’s “Progressives” proposed “health care” in 1912) – and this is a long-term fight – it doesn’t end in South Carolina in 2 weeks!!

Word now is that Republican party bosses are trying to deter RP from going 3P by threatening to short circuit his son’s political career. Both parties are run by sociopaths. Perhaps both father and son will defy the oligarchs.

Ron Paul, like most of the other candidates, has good points and bad points. I agree with his economic theories, but his social agenda and foreign policy re Israel and the Middle East, I find to be deplorable. You’ve got to stand up for what’s right even if it doesn’t fit your idealistic policies.

I’ve tried to like Newt and Perry but they continue to mess in their mess kits no matter how hard I try to like them. I had to get used to Ron Paul so for what it’s worth, warts and all, I think he is the only dog in the fight that will be good for the country. Once again Mercer has roped me into some radical deal and made me think it was my idea. My mother warned me about women like her.
