Campaign Pong

This is quite eerie. CBS News’ Dean Reynolds compares the two campaigns on civility. It appears that the Obama camp is unpleasant and inconsiderate; the McCain camp the opposite.

When it comes to hygiene, I’m a regular Howard Hughes. So this tidbit is highly significant:

Obama’s campaign plane is “cramped, uncomfortable and smells terrible most of the time. Somehow the McCain folks manage to keep their charter clean, even where the press is seated.”

It sounds like a comparison between the Clinton campaigns and the Republicans as well – but. relative to Bush II, Clinton did not expand government as much. Perhaps some of the Obama confusion is due to extra security by the Secret Service. I hate to think of the nightmare scenario when Clem the Redneck gets laid off in bad economic times by some woman/minority boss …. – and takes out his high powered hunting rifle…. – followed by President Biden pushing through the gun confiscation legislation that he loves. Bad economic times, political polarization, and a charismatic multiracial President is a volatile mix.
