UPDATE II (July 31): Frank of Queens and John of Staten Island are brilliant but wickedly impolitic. They are generalists; they know so much. I like to focus on particular aspects of Into the cannibal’s Pot, which is such a wide-ranging work. That’s not always easy.
By the way, JP, you were wise to order the hard-copy, an update of which is now in circulation. I am being told by customers that the Kindle copy is formatted badly. I hope to get it corrected asap. I’ve learned not to rely on anyone but my self (but how much can one person do?), in the future.
What an interesting interview. I kept waiting for you to be baited into agreeing with Hitler, but then I remembered that this was The Right Perspective. You handled it very well and it was great to hear two guys from the US who are so clued up on SA. Plus I think they must be a hoot at social gatherings.
The kindle version is not formatted all that badly. The aesthetics are a bit dull, but then such is the case with every other kindle book in existence. Don’t lose too much sleep over it.
