The following is from my new WND.COM, “Rick Gets Rabid; Ron Paul Endures”:
“CNN must be desperate for the ratings the network receives whenever it hosts a Republican presidential debate. As moderator of the Tea Party Debate in Tampa, Florida, last month, Wolf Blitzer worked it. And not once did leftist activist-cum-anchor Anderson Cooper mention bullying in Las Vegas, Tuesday night: Viewers of the Western Republican Debate got off lightly. The excuse for a newsman known as Anderson Cooper did only one stupid thing: Demonstrate to the seven presidential contenders how to introduce themselves.
CNN was on its best behavior, which is more than one can say about Governor Rick Perry (R-TX). He sounds a lot like a slightly less stupid ‘W,’ which is still plenty stupid (and cunning to boot). The man is so much like The Decider in demeanor that it’s unsettling.
In bashing Herman Cain’s 9-9-9 tax-reform plan, Perry persistently called Cain ‘brother’ (‘I love you, brother, but…’). This phony, patronizing touch was plainly insulting.
For colorful metaphors that capture the tapped arteries of taxation in the Cain plan—destined to balloon with the lifeblood of the taxpayer—it’s hard to beat Grover Norquist. The president of Americans for Tax Reform likened 9-9-9 to putting ‘tapeworms in your tummy to try and maintain your weight.’ And to ‘having three needles in your arm drawing blood instead of one.'” …

Yes, the Cowboy showed exactly what he is: an unsophisticated ranch hand.
Norquist really needs to read LUDWIG von MISES, AUSTRIAN ECONOMICS, and THE FAIR TAX. However, he should have Herman Cain give him some math lessons first.
And the false argument of how to stop politicians from raising the rates 999 to higher ones has the same answer with the current system – how do you stop politicians from raising the rates of the currents system?
PUT THEM ALL IN JAIL!

Have a great weekend!
I would be glad to click on the “like” button, except they want me to sign up for ‘Facebook’ to do so. I am forever getting told that I have to sign up for and get my name on somebodies list. I don’t like Facebook, Yahoo Messenger, and good lord how many other websites. I don’t mind a form of identification to verify the validity of my vote; but, to get put on another list of members…
[Facebook is wonderful; a brilliant program. I generally feel as you do, RG, but FB is the best. Some annoying elements, for sure, but otherwise, a genius of a program. Do join.]
Perry insisting that forcing Texas taxpayers to hand $100,000 in benefits to trespassers is not as bad as Mitt not checking whether his Lawn Service hired an illegal shows what a nasty bozo he is.
Cain’s 9-9-9 will bring in the same amount of money without anyone paying more taxes (huh!) is a huckster – contradicting himself on negotiating with terrorists, abortion, and hundreds of issues. He seems to be running either for Secretary of Commerce of Talk-Show-Host.
The insipid but “Presidential looking” Romney has the great luck of being surrounded by the two dolts.
Michelle has been completely lost in the debates – almost certainly better than Redneck Perry and Huckster Cain. Newt makes an occasional bon mot. Santorum is a MegaSchmuck.
“President Paul” – 81 in 2017 – won’t happen since his ideas of limited constitutional government is out of synch with 80% of the electorate – is Prophet Jeremiah, trying to speak the truth in 30 second soundbites to the booboisie. The government SPENDS $ 5,000 more per person each year –THE SPENDING IS THE TAX!
Meanwhile, the Sales Tax Affectionados, Drug Warriors, and Homeland Security “Terrorist” Hunters, and American Megabanks are now going after the use of cash:
