Update II: Bibi Declines More Barack Boorishness (BHO Performs Miracles)

Barack Obama,Foreign Policy,Israel,Israeli-Palestinian Conflict,South-Africa,WMD

DEBKAfile: “Israeli prime minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s last-minute decision to cancel his attendance at the US-sponsored summit on nuclear terror, opening in Washington Monday, April 11” has made the White House furious. The Summit would invariably see the “Egyptian, Turkish and other Muslim rulers slam Israel for its presumed atomic arsenal.”

DEBKAfile’s Jerusalem sources say the prime minister acted out of two motives:

1. Israeli government circles were advised to read two reports leaked to US newspapers ( Washington Post: Obama weighs new peace plan for the Middle East and the New York Times: Should US design Mideast peace plan?) which appeared to herald the White House’s intention to impose a peace settlement on Israel.
Our sources in Washington and Jerusalem named National Security Adviser James Jones as the source of the leaks.
One senior source said the leaked reports were serious because “President Obama has his mind set on getting the borders of Israel and the future Palestinian state negotiated and settled in four months. This process leaves no room for any discussion on the security frontiers promised Israel for decades, yet the US president expects the Netanyahu government to accept Washington’s borders-cum-Palestinian state package without demur. His planners have shaped a Palestinian state within borders that make no provision for Israeli security. That is something the Netanyahu government will never accept.”
2. At the end of their stormy conversation in the White House, Obama handed Netanyahu a list of 11 issues on which he asked Jerusalem to respond. The prime minister continues to withhold his replies having been convinced from close study of the issues/queries that they were clever formulations designed to trick him into endorsing the new American plan for the Middle East.
Without answers to Obama’s eleven puzzles, Netanyahu does not feel his trip to Washington is necessary…

B. Hussein Obama has hatched a plan to impose “peace” on Israel.” Word has it that the “right of return” for Palestinian refugees is in the mix, as is the status of Jerusalem.

The Right of Return for any self-styled, United-Nations-Relief and Works-Agency-sponsored “Palestinian” agitator will entail absorbing millions of self-styled Arab refugees into Israel proper, and is, of course, a euphemism for the destruction of the Jewish State.

For obvious reasons, the One-State-Solution I call the “Final Solution to the Jewish State.”

Update I (April 12): BHO Honors Zuma. The farce continues. America’s president hangs with and honors (unjustly) the president of South Africa. Obama, who loves the futility, pomp and splendor of summits, “appeared with South African President Jacob Zuma in Washington.” This, after dissing Bibi Netanyahu.

Boorish Barack called South Africa a “‘moral leader’ on the nuclear issue, since it began — and then dismantled — a nuclear program during the apartheid era.”

The people being killed back home, the Afrikaners, founded the Pelindaba Nuclear Research Center, built a couple of bombs, and then disassembled them for the promise of peace on earth.

Now Zuma Zulu is being credited for the sacrifice.

Update II (April 13): BHO PERFORMS MIRACLES. “Obama: We’ve Made the World Safer.” Is there anything this guy can’t achieve? All it took was the power of His presence and a verbal agreement between the 47 nations which partook in His Nuclear Security Summit in Washington to make the miracle of nuclear disarmament materialize.

Wait a sec: “Pressed by CBS News’ Bill Plante, he also acknowledged that there was no enforcement mechanism to the communique that came out of the conference.”

I stand with Netanyahu. He is not going to be fooled by Barry’s folley and immature approach to foreign policy. Netanyahu, unlike Barry, will protect his country and people. Israel may have to replace the US as the world’s policeman. Barry shows no interest.

It’s more than a comfort to find a robust resistance to the contagion, in all its strains, that is Obama. It’s less a comfort that we, in this country, seem not to be blessed with it.

If the Israelis don’t wish to take orders from Washington, then don’t take Uncle Sam’s money, loan guarantees and any other goodies which can be used as strings.

Good move for Bibi. The next thing he should do is refuse U. S. foreign aid. Do the Israelis really need it? Private donations will continue to pour in, and may even increase.

Presumably, Obama and his Global hegemonist micromanagers want to “earn” his Nobel Prize. But what is in it for anyone else? I see no evidence that the Palestinians want to live next to a Jewish state. Would they be willing to let King Abdullah take responsibility for the stability of the West Bank? When Jordanian King Abdullah tried to talk peace in 1951, he got assassinated. When Sadat gave up dreams of conquering Israel in return for the Sinai, he got assassinated (yawn – went the Arab world).

Now, what is in it for Israel??? – hmmm, give up 30% of your capital city to an unstable regime that applauds murdering Jewish babies. Allow “statehood” to a politically unstable bunch of “peaceful” thugs who can then import mortars, chemical weapons, missiles, etc. and give them out to impromptu militias. In return, (a) Israel depends on being protected by Greek and Portuguese “NATO” troops [we know how useful these troops are in Afghanistan], (b) Israel gets to have a Saudi ambassador show up [at least temporarily] and shakes some Jewish minister hand, and (c) Obama will say a nice word about Bibi at an AIPAC fundraiser! Oh boy, what a deal!

Can we get Bibi to run for president here in the US? We’ll just modify his birth certificate… (Don’t worry, I’m not a birther. 😉 )

I know your policy concerning “religious” discussion, but allow to interject one thing: what you are seeing is something that the prophets of old had already seen. Mr. Obama is a puppet

Wouldn’t it be wise for the U.S. government to detail what it believes to be a fair settlement? Otherwise, the goalposts keep getting moved and obstructionism reigns. If the Palestinians or Israelis can’t live with the U.S. proposal, they can live without foreign aid.

  9. Myron Pauli

Yes, James W., you are “getting it”. I fail to see that the foreign aid benefits the American taxpayers, the Constitution (which does not authorize it), or Israel (and the Torah forbids it in Deuteronomy 15:6). The only potential beneficiaries are the Palestinian thugs who line their Swiss bank accounts and the State Department Bureaucrats who pretend that there is some sort of a “peace process”.

I agree with those who wish for Israel to refuse US aid. But of course, you all know that it is a VERY two-way street. In return the US obtains the BEST intelligence on terrorism in the world (better than its won). It gets access to the best engineers and scientists in the world to develop military technology that the US depends on. (A nation of 7 million – Israel matches the technological innovation of the US, coming in second to the US in venture capital investment. Way outpacing the Europeans, and the Communist Chinese and Totalitarian Russian, not to mention the Japanese and Koreans.)

Israel would lose if the close relationship with the US goes into hibernation while Obama is President. But it would lose much more if it became a parrot for this incompetent and anti-American administration.

  11. Barbara Grant

    Haym,

I don’t doubt the value of intelligence the Israelis provide the U. S., but I dispute your claim that they are the best engineers and scientists in the world. I think we are! My judgment stems from a 25+ year engineering career during which I’ve seen quite a bit of industry and academia, inside and outside the defense business. That we don’t utilize our highly trained tech personnel better is a sore point with me, and many others; but the quality of our technologists is there; and so far, we remain at the top of the charts, IMO.

As long as I can remember the United States has been hatching plans for a “mideast peace”. It always seems to involve having the Israelis give up this or that. The Palestinians are completely treacherous and completely ready to attack Israel at the drop of a hat. Having the Americans, in general, and this particular administration, in particular, crafting a “mideast peace” seems like giving a monkey a typewriter and expecting him to write a Tolstoy novel.

  13. Myron Pauli

To James Huggins- actuallly, if there were to be a true peace (not just some paper hooey), the Palestinians would have to give up much more than the Israelis. Israel would evacuate some land – packing some stuff in moving vans. Palestinians would be giving up their current terroristic violent nature of the last century and be forced to turn into a modern civilization. It is far easier for me to move to the next county than for a cat to turn into a dog. Call me highly skeptical.

  14. james huggins

You’re right Myron. There aint gonna be no lasting peace in the middle east. More likely there aint gonna be no peace of any kind. All we can shoot for is keeping Israel strong enough to stop the barbarians outside the gates.

The globalists must destroy the nation state, whether it is Israel, the UK, the Republic or Canada.

By the way, anyone notice that Michelle O has journeyed to Mexico?

    And for what reasons?

    To talk about childhood obesity?

Or to proffer more of my looted tax dollars to the corrupt elites who run that narco state?

Or was it talk about another “migratory accord”?

The weapon of choice with the globalists is population transfers. It destroys the old order and ushers in a new one. Whether it is Israel or the Republic.
