UPDATE III: Beauty And The Beast (The Cranium)

Aesthetics,Celebrity,Hollywood,Left-Liberalism And Progressivisim,Sarah Palin

Purely from an aesthetic point of view, Julianne Moore has no business playing Sarah Palin. I thought the idea of film was mimicry—be as true as possible to the reality portrayed (that was, admittedly, before activism replaced acting). Moore is unattractive, an attractive version of Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York.

Moore, moreover, looks like she suffers Flat Head Syndrome or Plagiocephaly. The head at the back is flat, the forehead slopes, the mouth—the entire face—is unbelievably weak. The eyes are lifeless. The hair is okay. That’s all. As for her acting; she’s merely passable.

Whatever your opinion of Sarah Palin, it is undeniable that she is a beauty, who has become better looking with age. Her head and face are beautifully shaped. Her jaw is well-sculpted. Her brow is lovely. The nose: wonderful; the eyes alive. I’m not a fan of her political appearances, but in physicality, Palin is stunning. What’s more, hers is a strong face. Moore’s is a weak mug.

See for yourself.

The beauty:

And the beast:

UPDATE I (March 15): George, about the linked tribute to Moore’s eyes (she ain’t a beautiful woman): This is an airbrushed, well made-up image. Most women can look good under photo-shop. And if you want the greenest, most glorious eyes that never needed falsies and eye-shadow, I would think Vivien Leigh was your lady. Here is that goddess in the masterpiece, “Gone With the Wind”:

I took it down to Moore’s cranium; her badly shaped head and weak face. The skin is nothing to write home about either. Sarah has a glorious skin. You can scrub Palin’s face clean, and yes, as all woman who wear make-up will tell you—you will not recognize her. But you’ll still see a fine bone structure. Moore happens to be a scumbag, who made such disparaging comments about Palin’s vacuity that one would think she, Moore, were some brainiac herself. Palin has mastered the intricacies of energy production and policy, to which I have always thought she should have stuck. Moore is a left-liberal scumbag who can’t think beyond leftist sloganeering. Nothing like her insipid face to remind one why Hollywood left-liberals are always and everywhere the enemy. On the other hand, Kardashian is a plain, apolitical idiot, but the girl has wonderful eyes, and glorious hair and skin. Just being objective about aesthetics here.

What is wrong with the men on this blog? Can’t you see the passion and life in the eyes of the two, non-Moore women? Can’t you see the dead, fish-eyes of The Moore?

UPDATE II: Posted below is a prime example of The Cranium. The chin; that forehead. Oy! Awful!

UPDATE III (March 16): My thoughts EXACTLY, Nick! Jodie Foster is a classic beauty and a good actress. Those strong featured; the eyes. To die for. Have you seen her in “The Brave One”? Unbelievable.

Sarah is a real babe. Especially at mid 40s and after 5 children. No wonder the nags hate her so much. She used to wear a white outfit a lot and was criticized for it. I couldn’t figure it out until I realized that most 45 year old women in the US would look like a walking refridgerator in a white dress. No, she’s not presidential material but she is remarkable in many ways, especially in her man-like toughness. The slobbering croud can’t get her to back down and I always admire her for that. Besides, ho would you rather be marooned on a desert island with? Sarah or Hillary?

There are more ways to see a woman, Ms. Moore included, than there are synapses to accommodate the seeing.

Admittedly, the best feature of the photo is the talent of the artist/photographer, nevertheless, every woman has her good sides and bad. Ms. Moore’s bad side was made use of in what is now no longer a syndrome but a cottage industry – the disparagement of Ms. Palin.

I wish I had a lady like Vivian Leigh. A true beauty who caught my eye even when I was just a boy. (Still am a boy in many ways, but that’s another story.)
Ah, the ladies. God bless em..

“What is wrong with the men on this blog? Can’t you see the passion and life in the eyes of the two, non-Moore women? Can’t you see the dead, fish-eyes of The Moore?”

    Ms. Mercer,

Goodness gracious! You’d think I’d said Ms. Moore was beautiful or some other frightful thing.

First, I assure you there is nothing wrong with this man. Hand to God, I can see the obvious, and your points, and have not a thing to say against any of them. My point, hand to God, was that women can be made to look better than what naturally becomes them, as by a photographer (airbrushing) or most any Hollywood makeup artist. By those arts, Ms. Moore could have been made to resemble most of Ms. Palin’s natural prepossession. That the producers – and most likely Ms. Moore – chose not to, spoke to their agenda. [I see your point.]

At any rate, I don’t mind the misunderstanding as I’ve now been reminded of and rewarded with a picture of Vivien Leigh, a breathtaking beauty. Along with Elizabeth Taylor and Ingrid Bergman… there was a magnificent trinity of pulchritude. [Oh yes! Impeccable taste.]

I trust I’ve squared myself back into your good graces and good opinion.

I always had a high opinion of Sarah Palin until I found out she had a torrid one-night-stand with this man.

Oh yes, its true. He confirmed it and she never denied it. This happened at the time Sarah was dating her current husband.

Her beauty has faded in my eyes.

Nobody has yet stated the obvious, so let me do it : our host’s description of Sarah Palin’s visage could equally be applied to herself. [I wish.]

Sarah’s a babe on the outside but rather shallow on the inside.

For looks, Sophia Loren is # 1 and my late wife is (was) # 2. She was also a wonderful person other than her bad taste in men!

  8. james huggins

Sarah shallow? Hardly. She’s a red state rube, like me, who likes sports and deer hunting, like me. That doesn’t make her shallow. I’m not shallow. Maybe Sarah is no Ilana, but then who is?

“she had a torrid one-night-stand with this man. Oh yes, its true. He confirmed it and she never denied it.” Hold it just a second. I’ve had many people say that I did something in my past I didn’t do and didn’t deny it. Denying something only makes you look guilty and making excuses. I’ve found strong people don’t bother. People believe what they want to. I don’t know how many ‘kiss and tellers’ I’ve known and knew that they were lying, but it did no good, even when I backed the innocent person up because I had been there, people still believed the lies. Besides that, what difference does it make if she had a wild fling before she settled down and spent the last what, twenty or more years with the same man without a hint of scandal. I wasn’t a virgin when I married, my wife knew it too. A lot of Democrats lied about her and Obama both (Her bad, him good) She didn’t deny them either. But who has been proven to be the liar in the last three years? I am not a Palin supporter, but I don’t like to see someone get yellowsheeted.

[Yes, where was the evidence? I posted that comment b/c I don’t have time to screen each one for veracity; only civility. But I think I should not have. Perhaps you, RG, can correct what seems to be unsubstantiated rumor generated on my site, of all places.–IM]

I’ve disliked Julianne Moore ever since she ruined Hannibal. You don’t go around ruining the ultimate psycho story with poor acting and flat affect.
Jodie Foster is the only Clarice Starling for me.

I really think that Joshua B should be the one to back up his story with a link; however, “Oh yes it’s true” (Snide-giggle)with a “Her beauty has faded in my eyes.” My hobby is writing and that kind of writing makes me feel like I just waded in a cesspool. Has to be a Liberal. Never the less. A search led to- http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/early-lead/post/report-glen-rice-sarah-palin-had-a-one-night-stand-in-87/2011/09/14/gIQArDZpRK_blog.html with the following from the Washington Post “Report: Glen Rice, Sarah Palin had a one-night stand in ’87
    By Cindy Boren

(Getty Images) And now, the oddest story you’re likely to read today:
In “The Rogue: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin,” Joe McGinniss’ soon-to-be-published book for former Alaska governor and vice-presidential candidate, one tidbit, passed along by the National Enquirer, concerns former NBA player Glen Rice.
Palin, according to the book, had a fling thing with Rice in 1987, while he was in college and she was a sports reporter fresh out of college and working at KTUU in Alaska. Rice was a junior at the University of Michigan at the time and their one-night stand occurred while he and the Wolverines were playing in the Great Alaska Shootout. Less than a year afterward, Palin, hockey mom and former basketball player, married her husband Todd. According to the Enquirer, Rice confirmed the relationship to McGinniss.” A quote from a book that quoted a tabloid as it’s source to begin with. Start in the gutter and stay there reporting. I’m going over 200 words sorry.
What difference is there in this story to my comment above. If she was a single girl that had sex before marriage, she would be no different than what- sixty percent of the females today? We aren’t looking for sainthood here or snide innuendo. How about “Was Barry Obama a virgin when he married?” Come on, get real. These types of things weren’t said about Hillery who had a husband with a reputation as an Alpha male or the Democrat woman who’s name started with an ‘F’ (Ferrigno or something)that also ran for Vice President with Mondale I think his name was. We just had another mudslinging troll cross our path; that’s all.
