UPDATED: Trump’s Stand-Up Letter Puts Pelosi In Her Place. It’s Funny, Too.

Comedy & Humor, Democrats, Donald Trump, Foreign Policy

Fifth-grade tit-for-tat is what practically all the tele-pundits are calling President Trump’s classic rejoinder to prissy Nancy Pelosi’s bullying. (She’s threatening to cancel his State of the Union address, out of spite.) Nonsense. It’s comic. Vintage Trump. Let’s have more of the same.

The Honorable Nancy Pelosi
Speaker of the House of Representatives
Washington, D.C. 20515

Dear Madame Speaker:

Due to the Shutdown, I am sorry to inform you that your trip to Brussels, Egypt, and Afghanistan has been postponed. We will reschedule this seven-day excursion when the Shutdown is over. In light of the 800,000 great American workers not receiving pay, I am sure you would agree that postponing this public relations event is totally appropriate. I also feel that, during this period, it would be better if you were in Washington negotiating with me and joining the Strong Border Security movement to end the Shutdown. Obviously, if you would like to make your journey by flying commercial, that would certainly be your prerogative.

I look forward to seeing you soon and even more forward to watching our open and dangerous Southern Border finally receive the attention, funding, and security it so desperately deserves!

Sincerely,

Donald J. Trump

UPDATE:

UPDATE (1/7/019): Gillibrand’s Gibberish

Democrats, Elections, Feminism, Gender, Government, Reason

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) has spoke, again. This time in tongues:

“Our future is female, intersectional, powered by our belief in one another,” she declaimed on twitter. “And we’re just getting started.”

Come again?

Multiply that nonsense by ….

More than 100 women were projected to win seats in the House of Representatives, easily shattering the record. Overwhelmingly they were Democrats who helped the party take control of the chamber.

UPDATED (1/7/019): Via

“The fact that women now run 4 of the 5 top arms contractors is bad news. Women who compete in the world of war have proven to be more extreme in their dedication to the cause than men, e.g., Hillary Clinton.”

What Women & Minority Majority Transformations Do To Elections

Democracy, Democrats, Donald Trump, Elections, Feminism, Gender, Left-Liberalism And Progressivisim, Republicans

The area “in or near Orange County, the densely-populated suburbs between Los Angeles and San Diego … were once an unassailable Republican fortress.” (“Orange Is The New Purple,” The Economist, Oct 20th 2018.)

“The OC” incubated Barry Goldwater’s conservatism and was home to Richard Nixon. Until 2016, its voters had last backed a Democratic presidential candidate in 1936, when they voted for FDR.

But the fortress has fallen to shifts in the population. Orange County, which used to be the colour of pith, is now minority majority with 34% of its population Hispanic and 21% Asian. Its voter registration reflects the change. It is 35% Republican, 34% Democrat and 27% independent, the definition of a competitive district.

The change that has most salience, though, is the rise in the number of university-educated people, especially women. In four of the five closest-fought districts in the county, graduates make up 28-34% of voters. Fully three-quarters of California’s female college graduates disapprove of Mr Trump (compared with 58% of male graduates and 61% of women who did not graduate). More than two-thirds [said] they [would] vote Democratic.

Nancy Pelosi Confirms That A Good America Is A Borderless America

Democrats, IMMIGRATION, Left-Liberalism And Progressivisim, Morality

As I wrote in “Liberals Want America To Go Borderless,” “What those liberals colonizing our heads are attempting to convey is that a good America, a just America, a moral America is de facto and de jure a borderless America”—ILANA Mercer.

Now Nancy Pelosi confirms and seconds the suspicions about the Democrats’ position regarding borders:

“Most of us, speaking for myself, consider the wall immoral, ineffective, expensive,” Pelosi said. “And the president said he’d promise, he also promised Mexico would pay for it. So, even if they did, it’s immoral still, and they’re not going to pay for it. So that isn’t how I would interpret a continuing resolution.
“We can move forward with this. We have a responsibility, all of us, to secure our borders — north, south, and coming in by plane on our coast — three coasts, north south and west — and that’s a responsibility we honor. But we do so by honoring our values as well.”
