Let’s Have Leniency For Ordinary Americans Imprisoned By The Security State

Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, Homeland Security

The good news is that Hillary Clinton is finished as a presidential candidate (unless I’ve failed to factor in the voting power of the resentful minorities that flank her and Barack Obama on their campaign excursions). The more like a banana republic the American political and justice systems show themselves to be—the greater Donald Trump’s chances of becoming president.

Again and again has FBI Director James Comey, “an Obama appointee who served in the Bush DOJ” (and who used to get his best daily boosting from Sean Hannity), revealed himself as a weasel. As recent events have demonstrated, Comey has an abysmal record of stopping American Jihadists, but has vigorously prosecuted innocents (in natural law) such as Martha Stewart.

“Washington Has Been Obsessed With Punishing Secrecy Violations — until Hillary Clinton,” writes Glenn Greenwald, in this characteristically excellent analysis:

Secrecy is a virtual religion in Washington. Those who violate its dogma have been punished in the harshest and most excessive manner – at least when they possess little political power or influence. As has been widely noted, the Obama administration has prosecuted more leakers under the 1917 Espionage Act than all prior administrations combined. Secrecy in DC is so revered that even the most banal documents are reflexively marked classified, making their disclosure or mishandling a felony. As former CIA and NSA Director Michael Hayden said back in 2000, “Everything’s secret. I mean, I got an email saying ‘Merry Christmas.’ It carried a top secret NSA classification marking.”

People who leak to media outlets for the selfless purpose of informing the public – Daniel Ellsberg, Tom Drake, Chelsea Manning, Edward Snowden – face decades in prison. Those who leak for more ignoble and self-serving ends – such as enabling hagiography (Leon Panetta, David Petreaus) or ingratiating oneself to one’s mistress (Petraeus) – face career destruction, though they are usually spared if they are sufficiently Important-in-DC. For low-level, powerless Nobodies-in-DC, even the mere mishandling of classified information – without any intent to leak but merely to, say, work from home – has resulted in criminal prosecution, career destruction and the permanent loss of security clearance.

This extreme, unforgiving, unreasonable, excessive posture toward classified information came to an instant halt in Washington today – just in time to save Hillary Clinton’s presidential aspirations. FBI Director James Comey, an Obama appointee who served in the Bush DOJ, held a press conference earlier this afternoon in which he condemned Clinton on the ground that she and her colleagues were “extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive, highly classified information,” including Top Secret material.

Comey also detailed that her key public statements defending her conduct – i.e., she never sent classified information over her personal email account and that she had turned over all “work-related” emails to the State Department – were utterly false; insisted “that any reasonable person in Secretary Clinton’s position . . . should have known that an unclassified system was no place for that conversation”; and argued that she endangered national security because of the possibility “that hostile actors gained access to Secretary Clinton’s personal e-mail account.” Comey also noted that others who have done what Clinton did “are often subject to security or administrative sanctions” – such as demotion, career harm, or loss of security clearance.

Despite all of these highly incriminating findings, Comey explained, the FBI is recommending to the Justice Department that Clinton not be charged with any crime. “Although there is evidence of potential violations of the statutes regarding the handling of classified information,” he said, “our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case.” To justify this claim, Comey cited “the context of a person’s actions” and her “intent.” In other words, there is evidence that she did exactly what the criminal law prohibits, but it was more negligent and careless than malicious and deliberate. …

Fems & ‘Girly Boys’ Are Really Feeling Hillary & Phony Pocahontas

Democrats, Feminism, Hillary Clinton, Left-Liberalism And Progressivisim

“They stormed the stage together wearing similarly colored clothes — hues that almost perfectly matched the bold blue of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign logo. With a ‘Stronger Together’ sign hanging in the background and a Katy Perry pop song blaring from the speakers, they cheered each other on like old pals, cracking jokes about Donald J. Trump and pointing with enthusiasm at a young supporter who waved a placard that read ‘Girl Power.’”

The storm-troopers in blue frocks cheered by New York Times’ AMY CHOZICK, in her overheated prose, are “Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts,” whom CHOZICK calls “a towering political figure among today’s liberal Democrats,” and who “brought her energy, folksy appeal and populist roar to a candidate not known for energizing crowds.”

Wow, these fem writers are really feeling Hillary and phony Pocahontas.

Hillary Clinton and the unhinged Elizabeth Warren are two resentful, domineering, power-hungry women, who’ve made it big in life through the use of state power. The human backdrop to the joint female force looks the same. Lots of aggravated-looking women and their domesticated, pasty faced boys looking frightened. The music: enfeebled squeaking courtesy of female pop “singer” Katy Perry.

Shudder.

Congress Goes Third World, Crooked, Crazed Hillary Joins In

Yes, the greatest deliberative body in the world, the U.S. House of Representatives, has gone the way of the anti-Trump, my-speech-or-no-speech rioters, the Black Lives Matter (Only) mobs, and the Occupy Wall Street encampments. Joined by Hillary Clinton on Twitter, Democrats are staging a sit-in on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives, demanding their way on gun legislation or no way.

“This is what leadership looks like,” tweeted Hillary Clinton, about turning what was once-upon-a-time a deliberative organ into a tool of a mob.

Via CBS:

… Just days after four gun control measures failed to pass in the U.S. Senate, House Democrats are staging their own protest on the floor of the lower chamber over firearm safety legislation.
A group of roughly 60 legislators sat down cross-legged in the middle of the House floor Wednesday, pushing for gun control votes. Some remained standing on the floor.
The group included civil rights icon Rep, John Lewis, D-Georgia, Kentucky’s Rep. John Yarmuth, and Rep. Joe Courtney of Connecticut.
“We can no longer wait,” Lewis said. “We can no longer be patient. So today, we come to the well of the House to dramatize the need for action. Not next month, not next year, but now — today. Sometimes you have to do something out of the ordinary. Sometimes you have to make a way out of no way.”
“We have been too quiet for too long,” he added. “There comes a time when you have to say something. You have to make a little noise. You have to move your feet. This is the time.”
Members took turns speaker passionately at the podium, chanting “No bill, no break” after each speech.
Later, Rep. Jim Clyburn of South Carolina led a prayer on the floor, with Democrats holding hands. …

Liberal Pollsters & Media Collude To Skew Polls

Democrats, Donald Trump, Elections, Hillary Clinton, Media, Pseudoscience

As I told a despondent pal and the spouse, not for a minute did I believe polls that depicted a flight to Hillary Clinton’s camp in the wake of Orlando. The opposite. Lying liberal pollsters and their media enablers were just doing what they always do: oversampling Democrats and liberal voting blocs. This Sierra Rayne at American Thinker confirms. “Corrected Gravis poll has Trump well out in front of Clinton at national level”:

After an onslaught of highly liberal biased polls against Donald Trump during the past week, it was refreshing to see an only modestly biased poll – in relative terms – released on Saturday by Gravis.

In its biased form, the poll shows Trump only 2% behind Hillary Clinton in the head-to-head matchup, far below the ridiculously large Clinton leads of up to 12% that Bloomberg and other leftist media outlets have been oozing of late.

But once we correct for biases in this Gravis poll, Trump is undoubtedly now well out in front of Clinton.

In the poll’s demographics, 40% of respondents said they were Democrats compared to just 33% who were Republicans. This 7% Democrat advantage is almost assuredly about 6% above where it should be – meaning Clinton’s narrow 2% lead should likely be upward of at least a 4% deficit behind Trump.

Further evidence of liberal bias in the poll comes from questions about Tea Party support, abortion, religious affiliation, and education.

Just 11% of those surveyed said they were members of the Tea Party. This value should be about 17%, suggesting – as with the party affiliation – about a 6% liberal bias.

The poll also shows a 17% advantage to pro-choice over pro-life, well above the known 6% spread in favor of pro-choice. This signifies a major liberal bias in the demographics, as the pro-choice side has not had an advantage larger than 10% since the 1990s.

When it comes to religious affiliation, the poll oversampled Muslims (2% versus 1%) and Catholics (25% versus less than 21%) and looks to have massively undersampled Evangelicals (10% versus 25%), resulting in more liberal bias. Evangelicals will vote dominantly for Trump, whereas Muslims and many Catholics are likely to lean toward Clinton.

A full 50% of the poll’s respondents had a bachelor’s degree or higher, compared to 34% in reality, introducing more liberal bias.

Based on the full range of liberal biases present, a reasonable estimate of Trump’s actual lead over Clinton is in the range of at least 5% once the polling data is corrected.
