“All sexual assault allegations should be handled in a court of law. To accuse someone, man or woman, without evidence is damaging and unfair”—Melania Trump (Fox News 10/17/2016.)
In both her interviews with CNN’s condescending Anderson Cooper and Fox News’s Ainsley Earhardt, Mrs. Trump shows herself to embody the true meaning of strong. When an American woman declares she’s a strong woman, she is using a cliche. She means a woman who whines a lot and brings others into compliance with her world view and ways. (Or you’re hear about it.)
Melania Trump is authentically strong.
In her refusal to give salacious tell-all interviews, in guarding her privacy, and in her serene, gracious, beautiful manners and bearing—Mrs. Trump exemplifies a European woman’s good breeding.
In line with her non-histrionic approach to the world, Melania refused to get worked up about the Access Hollywood tape in which her husband engaged in locker-room talk. Boys-will-be-boys.
Perceptively, Melania noted that every malicious, lie-filled article about herself or Mr. Trump was written by a … female.
Welcome to American Matriarchy rising.
Donald Trump is right to defend himself, said his wife. (Agreed.) “He will fight for the American people as he fights for himself.”
