The excerpt is from my new column, now on Taki’s Magazine, “We Get It: Museum Shooter Is a Hateful Honky”:

THE MORE OBVIOUS MORAL of the von Brunn attack relates to media coverage. If you’re a white supremacist caught in the act, intrepid, mainstream journalism will not rest until it has dug-up, divulged and dissected everything about you.

Scarcely had the cowardly attack taken place than the mug of the hater was plastered on every TV station across the country. (I can’t tell you what the Jihadi du jour looks like.) Ditto details of von Brunn’s dysfunctional biography and ideology.

In no time the usually lackadaisical liberal media expertly knitted together von Brunn’s years in irons, unsavory associations, and the ins-and-outs of his holocaust-denying, anti-Semitic belief system. …

On the other hand, does anyone … know who Wael W. Kalash is?

I didn’t think so. If you’re a swarthy supremacist, driven by devotion to a vampiric prophet and his deity, you can count on the ‘discretion’ of those whose job description is vigilant indiscretion.”…

The complete column is “We Get It: Museum Shooter Is a Hateful Honky.”

Miss the weekly column on WND? Catch it on Taki’s Magazine every Saturday.

Update (June 14): In addition to the assorted protected-species murder charges (hate crimes), “Von Brunn, 88, has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of 39-year-old Stephen T. Johns, who was black.” (via FoxNew)

I’m beginning to get the gist of equality under the law in America. If you aggress against a gay, black, or Jewish individual, then you’ve earned the severest of sanctions: first degree murder, in the case of von Brunn. If, in the course of being Muslim, you behead your wife—well then, Muslim acts in mitigation. You’re charged with second degree murder, only.

Not able to see your column yet – meanwhile:
” ‘The murderous attack that took place at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington by James von Brunn, a self-identified anti-Semite, white supremacist and hater of African-Americans, shows that the cancer of hatred, bigotry and anti-Semitism is alive and well in America,’ stated Rabbis Marvin Hier and Abraham Cooper of the Simon Wiesenthal Center/Museum of Tolerance in West Los Angeles.” – ONE wacko attack and it is a rampant plague of bigotry. And I suppose that Baruch Goldstein’s one-man shooting spree shows a plague of Jewish terror against Moslems. When JFK was assassinated, the media started on the “right-wing hatemonger” theme until it turned out that (oops!) Lee Harvey Oswald was a Cuban-loving Commie. And somehow, the assassination of Robert Kennedy had nothing to do with {CENSORED – Politically incorrect thought!}. Come to think of it, von Brunn also attacked the Federal Reserve so I expect to read in the various op-eds how being against the Federal Reserve must be the first warning sign of anti-Semitism – as expressed by such Jew-haters such as Rothbard, Mises, Block, and Mercer.

Here are the differences between Nutjob 1 and Nutjon 2 [reader laps up media spin, chews and spits it out for us]:

Nutjob 1 stabbed a random student (who lived) with no motive whatsoever in middle America with a kitchen knife. Nutjob 2 was a white supremacist and anti-Semite who attacked a federally supported, national-level museum in our nation’s capitol that is dedicated to honoring one of the most horrific events in the history of man to over 30 million visitors (only 10% of which are Jewish), and killed with a rifle a guard who died heroically in the line of duty from a senseless hate crime. Nutjob 2 also had several other weapons and a list of other Washington DC sites in his posession. The first was a simple stabbing; the other an obvious right wing terrorist attack and hate crime on the same level as the Tiller murder in a church. Most of Americans see the difference… [mainstream media is indeed relying on The Sheep.]

    This title is incredible. 🙂

[Thanks; I’ll take credit this time.]

A great article. It is sick to see how the liberal-left takes advantage of these tragedies to attack their enemies and peddle their anti-liberty, statist agenda. The liberal neocon (but I repeat myself) Charles Johnson has been trying to associate Pat Buchanan with von Brunn (who is cynically identified as a paleo-conservative by Johnson)on his blog (I guess he’s taking a break from trying to smear the honorable Robert Spencer as a fellow traveler of racists and neo-fascists). The legion of liberal-left bloggers and TV commentators have not rested in blaming Pat Buchanan, Ron Paul, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Bill O’reilly, Ann Coulter, and any other “conservative” boogieman for the actions of James von Brunn and Scott Roeder. Yet somehow Islamic theology is completely let off the hook for the actions of jihadist assassin Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad and the would-be Bronx 4 bombers (in fact the liberal media is eager to flush these stories down memory hole entirely).

On this Kalash guy, I live in Ohio and I swear I never heard of this incident! Butch, the guy’s a fascist not a right-winger, get a clue!

Still waiting to read your article. [What on earth do you mean? The article is here. Has been since last night.] According to Jamie Kirchick in the New Republic, the culprit is the “fringe right” led by Ron Paul:

FINALLY was able to access your excellent column. [What happened? Was the connection dowon in your area?] The frightening thing on the creepy and un-reported Wael W. Kalish is that the creep was threatening and screaming at women for weeks and our Leviathan state does nothing until a woman gets stabbed. Hard to tell whether this is due to the usual government ineptitude or a government phobia of appearing to be “anti-Islamic”. Meanwhile – blacks get shot in DC all the time by blacks and the media snores but a black getting shot by a “right-winger” at the Holocaust museum and the wolfpack of media morons feast on every word in the jackass’ writings as if they were dissecting the Talmud!

[M., read the update to this post before giving the government and its handmaidens in the media the benefit of the doubt.]

Phil Hendrie had someone named Joan Walsh from Salon.com on his show tonight. She was adamant that Von Brunn was a “right-wing Christian supremacist.” A casual google will reveal that Von Brunn considered Christianity to be an evil Jew religion created to destroy the Roman Empire and bring the Western world into the Dark Ages.

To whit: The Big Lie technique, employed by Paul to create the CHRISTIAN RELIGION, also was used to create the HOLOCAUST RELIGION … CHRISTIANITY AND THE HOLOCAUST are HOAXES.

(Apparently the website that contained the original content has been conveniently censored.)

No apologies to Christians will be forthcoming. We all look the same to people like Walsh. As far as she’s concerned, this incident of “domestic terrorism” (Mohammed at the strip mall was just mentally ill) has vindicated the DHS report on “right-wing extremism” and therefore justified the state’s surveillance of people like you and me.

Well, the fine folks at CAIR have bravely come out and condemned the shooting at the Holocaust Memorial Museum. Still waiting to hear their thoughts about young Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad and his little jihad raid on a recruiting center down in Arkansas.

A conspiracy suggests two or more persons are involved. Had this been true then this means that the FBI and NSA knew about it or should have known about it since the NSA has a policy of “total recall” in regards to communications.

    So, he acted alone.

As for the MSM, the Borg somehow overlooked this interesting tidbit. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/06/11/AR2009061103950_2.html Seems the hardworking immigrants (sic) who belong to MS-13 were hard at work doing the job that Americans used to do. MS-13 has ties to Hezbollah. http://www.frontpagemag.com/readArticle.aspx?ARTID=4639
