When In The US, Speak English

Conservatism, English, Israel, Nationhood, Republicans

I remember an old joke that was told in Israel, and was aimed at the ultra-orthodox who dress oddly and won’t speak Hebrew:

An Israeli in shorts and a Tembel Hat is walking down the street, when from across the street an ultra-orthodox Jew in black garb shouts obscenities at him in Yiddish. These Jews believe that speaking Hebrew before Messiah arrives is heretic. To ensure messiah comes (often referred to as the longest coming in history), the Jew has to remain weak, dispossessed and persecuted—a sickly spirit without a corporeal country.

The Israeli shouts back, “Speak Hebrew, goy!” Goy means non-Jew.

Kova Tembel:

This reminds me of Donald Trump’s retort to Jeb Bush rattling off in Spanish on the campaign trail. The Trump retort was, incidentally, not only righteous but culturally conservative in the extreme. CNN:

Trump took a jab Wednesday at Jeb Bush for using Spanish to dismiss the mogul’s conservative credibility.

… “I like Jeb,” Trump told Breitbart News. “He’s a nice man. But he should really set the example by speaking English while in the United States.”

Trump was referring to the former Florida governor’s comments to reporters on Tuesday about Trump’s policies.

“El hombre no es conservador,” Bush said, which translates to, “This man is not a conservative.” …

Black Supremacy; White Slavery

Argument, Conservatism, Left-Liberalism And Progressivisim, Race, Racism

“He’s a college dropout still trying to catch up on his reading.” … He “can only talk about racism because it’s the one subject for which he can claim immunity from the facts, not based on the truth, but based on an assumed moral authority of victimhood.” … He gets “paid to blog about his thoughts on Spider-Man for The Atlantic.” “His only struggle is deciding which frustration with a taxi, waiter or butler to turn into a column about racism this week.” “He was a visiting professor at MIT despite not having a degree in anything. He’s a success story whose topic is his own oppression.” His name is Ta-Nehisi Coates [yes, he’s an American, if a pretentious one]. And Daniel Greenfield describes his ilk to a T—except for the thing where conservatives, presumably to appear righteous, claim that such black privilege and supremacy make blacks “slaves on the liberal plantation.”

Nonsense! Come to think of it, the supremacy of the one race enslaves the other; it makes whites slaves.

“Rachel Dolezal: A Racially Abused Girl—Really” gets it right:

In America, black is beautiful. To be black is to be more righteous, nobler; carry the heaviest historic baggage—heavier than the Holocaust—and be encouraged to perpetually and publicly pick at those suppurating sores.

To be black is to have an unwritten, implicit social contract with wider, whiter society.

To be black it to be born with an IOY; it is to be owed apologies, obsequiousness, education, and auto-exculpation for any wrongdoing.

Please, Sean Hannity, Less Noise

Ann Coulter, Conservatism, IMMIGRATION, Media

Please Sean Hannity, it is not often that you entertain a guest who knows her subject. But when you do, please let the odd, knowledgeable guest get a word in edgeways. Even the most retarded of your viewers is, by now, familiar with your own quick-fix program for America, repeated ad nauseam on radio and TV. So there is no point in shouting these bullet points again and again, over each guest who makes a feeble attempt at speaking on the Hannity Show.

Seriously, you don’t understand the nuances of centrally planned, mass immigration. When she is allowed on Fox New, let Ann Coulter explain to you that even if good people flow across the border with no end insight, Other, Unseen, Better people must work to support the first horde of uneducated, welfare-dependent cuties. Please Sean Hannity, stop talking, for once! You used to be humbler about your lackluster knowledge.

There is nothing worse than straining to glean important information drowned in the din you make about your plan for America: the one penny plan, school vouchers (as opposed to free-market education), medical savings accounts (as opposed to free-market health care), conquests abroad, yada, yada, yada.

Today, Sean Hannity, your lineup (Trump and Coulter) was far and away better than Megyn Kelly’s. She is fast succumbing to the vulgar female instinct to show-off, bare too much, flirt, wink, talk, too, over her guests, and kvetch excessively. Make a point of not emulating Kelly or Bill O’Reilly.

UPDATED: War Party Inc. Welcomes WikiLeaks Trade/Treason Revelations

Barack Obama, Conservatism, Neoconservatism, Regulation, Technology, The State, Trade

The War Party Inc. is forever raging against WikiLeaks and its heroic founder Julian Assange. Lo and behold, I heard Mark Levin approvingly mention the “secretive Obamatrade documents” uncovered by Wikileaks. Hmmm.

So, the liberty to scrutinize what tyranny is up to is not so bad after all?

Via Breitbart.com:

Discovered inside the huge tranche of secretive Obamatrade documents released by Wikileaks are key details on how technically any Republican voting for Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) that would fast-track trade deals like the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade deal would technically also be voting to massively expand President Obama’s executive authority when it comes to immigration matters.

The mainstream media covered the Wikileaks document dump extensively, but did not mention the immigration chapter contained within it, so Breitbart News took the documents to immigration experts to get their take on it. Nobody has figured how big a deal the documents uncovered by Wikileaks are until now. (See below)

The president’s Trade in Services Act (TiSA) documents, which is one of the three different close-to-completely-negotiated deals that would be fast-tracked making up the president’s trade agreement, show Obamatrade in fact unilaterally alters current U.S. immigration law. TiSA, like TPP or the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (T-TIP) deals, are international trade agreements that President Obama is trying to force through to final approval. The way he can do so is by getting Congress to give him fast-track authority through TPA.

TiSA is even more secretive than TPP. Lawmakers on Capitol Hill can review the text of TPP in a secret, secured room inside the Capitol—and in some cases can bring staffers who have high enough security clearances—but with TiSA, no such draft text is available.

Voting for TPA, of course, would essentially ensure the final passage of each TPP, T-TIP, and TiSA by Congress, since in the history of fast-track any deal that’s ever started on fast-track has been approved. …

UPDATED (6/15): “The secretive wheeling and dealing on the massive 29-chapter draft [of the Trans-Pacific Partnership] (kept under classified lock-and-key and only a tiny portion of which have been publicly disclosed through WikiLeaks) make the backroom Obamacare negotiations look like a gigantic solar flare of openness and public deliberation. Fast-track Republicans, who rightfully made a stink when Nancy Pelosi declared that ‘we have to pass the [Obamacare] bill so that you can find out what is in it,’ now have no transparency legs to stand on. …”

And if “America” doesn’t yet hate the TPP, it certainly should.

My position: all legislation is bad unless it is legislation to repeal legislation.
