As the media told it, not voting Obama was tantamount to racism. By the same (twisted) logic, not voting for McCain ought to have been considered reverse racism. By this calculus, black and Hispanic racism far exceeded Anglo-American alleged racism. Fifty five percent of Anglo-Americans voted McCain, while 95 percent of African-Americans and 67 percent of Latinos voted Obama!

I guess some latitude is in order. It took decades and piles of dead bodies before Robert Mugabe lost luster in the eyes of the American MainStream Media [MSM]. By the time the megalomaniac Mugabe was conferred with honorary doctorates (1984 and 1986) and a knighthood (1994), he had already done his “best” work: slaughter an estimated 20,000 innocent Ndebele in Matabeleland (1983), with whose leader, Joshua Nkomo, he refused to share power.
Western conventional wisdom was, well, no wiser.”

This is quite eerie. CBS News’ Dean Reynolds compares the two campaigns on civility. It appears that the Obama camp is unpleasant and inconsiderate; the McCain camp the opposite.
When it comes to hygiene, I’m a regular Howard Hughes. So this tidbit is highly significant:
Obama’s campaign plane is “cramped, uncomfortable and smells terrible most of the time. Somehow the McCain folks manage to keep their charter clean, even where the press is seated.”
