Perhaps A President Marine Le Pen Will Shame POTUS Into Keeping His Promises

Hopefully for the French, Marine Le Pen will become their next president, will keep all her promises, and shame President Donald Trump into keeping his.

If a President Marine Le Pen’s Front National keeps the promise to withdraw from the EU and the euro, perhaps the POTUS will be shamed into revisiting his promises about NATO. Remember those?

If a President Marine Le Pen’s Front National keeps the promise to end mass immigration; perhaps the POTUS will be reminded to keep his promises about the defining issue of our time: mass immigration.

Here’s hoping. After all, POTUS doesn’t like to be upstaged.

“I will protect you,” Le Pen vowed April 18. “‘My first measure as president will be to reinstate France’s borders,’ Le Pen said to wide applause and cheers from the crowd of about 5,000, prompting the Front National’s (FN) traditional ‘This is our home!’ chant.”

If she wins, Le Pen should certainly abolish France’s anti-speech laws, which saw her prosecuted for comparing Muslim street prayers to the Nazi occupation of France.

As I observed in “Life With Islam And Its Enablers”:

The attack in Paris, April 20, saw “a police officer killed and two others seriously injured when a gunman opened fire late Thursday on the famed Champs-Élysées in Paris before he was shot dead, officials said.”

The Islamic State group quickly claimed responsibility for the attack.
French prosecutors have opened a terrorism investigation into the attack on the officers, which took place at 8:50 p.m. local time.
Paris Prosecutor Francois Molins said authorities have identified the 39-year-old gunman but did not name him publicly. Officials are still assessing whether he had accomplices, he said.
Molins said the gunman used an assault rifle, and at least one location in the eastern Paris suburbs is being searched as officials work to learn more information about the attacker.
“The identity of the attacker is known and has been checked,” he said. “I will not give it because investigations with raids are ongoing.”
In a statement from its Amaq news agency, ISIS named the attacker Abu Yousef Al-Baljiki, “The Belgian,” adding that he was “one of the Islamic State fighters.”
The claim of responsibility came unusually swiftly for the group, which has been losing territory in Iraq and Syria. It also referred to the attacker as one of the “fighters,” rather than the “soldiers” of the Islamic State.

As Catherine Herridge has reported, French intelligence sits on a terror list 10,000 strong. Naturally, the list gives rise to no deportations: Citizenship for Jihadis before the right to life for innocent French.

A Weird Weekly Address: Trump’s New Religious Inclusiveness

Thanks for the transcript of the Weekly Address, Mr. President. Transcripts make America read, save me time (watching YouTube wastes it) and, altogether, MAGA.

Now that I’ve said something nice, let’s get to the weird Weekly Address President Trump has just given. Perhaps this Address is of a piece with the pivot away from Brannon-type nationalism?

Why start the address with an ode to Jews and our Passover? Was this simply because Passover precedes Easter? Still, Easter should have preceded Passover in the president’s address. Must we anticipate hearing about the joys of Ramadan, when it comes up? In that case, I prefer that Passover gets a pass.

However, after 45 Egyptian Coptic Christians were martyred by Muslims on Palm Sunday—to say nothing about candidate Trump’s pro-Christianity talk during the campaign—I’d have expected sometime less wishy-washy than this:

… one of the gravest threats to religious freedom remains the threat of terror.
On Palm Sunday, as Christians around the world celebrate the beginning of Holy Week, ISIS murdered at least 45 people and injured over 100 others at two Christian churches in Egypt.
We condemn this barbaric attack. We mourn for those who lost loved ones. And we pray for the strength and wisdom to achieve a better tomorrow—one where good people of all faiths, Christians and Muslims and Jewish and Hindu, can follow their hearts and worship according to their conscience.

“Terror”? What ever happened to Islamic terror?

Forty five people murdered and over 100 injured? Those “people” were Coptic Christians. They’ve been targeted for centuries, persecuted in that region by Muslims for their religion.

“Life With Islam And Its Enablers” is the current column, now on The Daily Caller. A (short) excerpt:

… Acting individually, Americans are still capable of responding to Jihad by “casting terror into the hearts” of Jihadi believers. Collectively and severally, the British and the Europeans are honing their helplessness.

Certainly when it comes to the agencies entrusted with protecting the people on both sides of the pond, failure is the rule. The response mounted by the people’s protectors across the West is lackluster, to put it charitably.

Be it Paris, Nice, Brussels, or Berlin; Orlando, San Bernardino—the men with mass murder on their minds are Muslim, often with criminal records or with a sudden heightened interest in Islam. That risk factor, Islam, is unacknowledged. Its followers are ignored, seldom stopped, and generally dismissed as misguided by the very intelligence agencies now successfully hobbling President Trump.

Posthumously, Jihadi killers are remembered kindly by a conditioned dhimmi community (ours) and by the complicit community (theirs). Nice guys all.

When these characters come to the attention of the authorities, they’re consistently given a pass for their infractions. Invariably are they interviewed and released, unleashed on innocents, because, somehow, they inspired faith in their inquisitors.

The same interrogators are better disposed to prosecuting patriots for impolite speech against Islam. Dutchman Geert Wilders and France’s Marine Le Pen come to mind. Persecuting another, President Donald Trump, for being too polite to Russia is another preferred pastime of Deep-State operatives, who’ll invariably call-off surveillance of Islamists, as they funnel fungible funds into, say, surveilling Trump Tower.

Following acts of Jihad, suspects slip through European roadblocks with relative ease. Perverse European legislators have instituted procedures that make apprehending and expelling undesirables near impossible. …

… Libertarian Julian Assange called the FBI and offshoots “America’s political police.” Europeans have their “political police.” The English have MI5; it declared Khalid Masood halal, kosher, good to go.

The “political police” is helping its political masters to achieve a goal. If political actions are indicators, then the aim is to acculturate Americans and Europeans to life with Islam. Are politicians working toward this goal reflexively, rather than as a matter of collusion and conspiracy? Is the institutional ineptness documented “helped” by Islamic infiltration into politics and policing? These matters are not easily adjudicated.

What patriots in the West need to know is that life with Islam is life under Islam and its enablers. …
