UPDATED (3/9/021): Why MAGA America Has Reached The End Of Stupid-Party Politics

Conservatism, COVID-19, Donald Trump, Elections, IMMIGRATION, Left-Liberalism And Progressivisim, Liberty, Republicans, Secession

The 2020 election, I marked with “a positive, anti-politics message to 74 million patriots,” in which the emphasis was on “creative, informal acts of secession.”

We have reached The End of Politics, or, at least, a tipping point in politics was my message. MAGA America ought to go into post-politics mode. It is a matter of urgency to understand the precarious nature in which the Deplorable voting block finds itself and develop a plan.  An adaptive post-politics reality would not be found in anodyne Republican assurances.

Consider: Your favorite pundit makes out like a bandit but offers you “no direction or solution other than to vote for the Republican politicians for whom they daily apologize. …

As you read this, the meaning of post-politics will become clearer.

We are, to all intents and purposes, two parallel nations, I argued. Why force MAGA America into the company of the loathsome Left? Slowly but purposefully we must congregate in compounds of like-minded individuals. Migrate we must to our own free-speech social networks. And withdraw we should from the Left’s miseducation system, primary, secondary and tertiary.

Commentator Jack Kerwick has been thinking deeply on the meaning of it all—the never-changing cycles of elections and the tension that keeps the duopoly going, at the expense of MAGA America. Excerpted here are the most poignant tracts in his latest thinking on what I’d frame as the end of politics and on an adaptive post-politics reality.

Key paragraph: All the horrors we’ve experienced of late have “occurred in a country with a Republican President, a Republican-controlled Senate, a Supreme Court dominated by Republican appointees, and a majority of whose state legislatures and governors are Republican.”

The writers and talkers of both the Big Conservative Media Complex (“the Big Con”), as well as lesser known libertarian and conservative outlets inexhaustibly wax hysterical about the impending and, to hear them tell it, imminent leftist Apocalypse—all while making fortunes, achieving fame, and, critically, supplying their followers with no direction or solution other than to vote for the Republican politicians for whom they daily apologize. …

Those who compose the Big Conservative Media Industrial Complex promote, tirelessly, the anxiety, depression, helplessness, and demoralization of the millions whose fears they exist to stoke.  To what end, one finally has to ask, for the only prescription these merchants of fear offer their customers (their audiences) is to vote Republican.  However, besides the fact that the leftward drift of the country has proceeded apace for decades, even while Republicans held power, the election thievery of 2020 should suffice to show that it is not now (nor has it ever been) possible to simply and solely vote one’s way out of this cesspool.

It is time for patriotic, God-fearing men and women to focus upon their own self-empowerment.  This means ridding their lives, as much as it is possible to do so, of all potentially toxic influences.  This, obviously, requires the expungement from their orbit of all Democrat Party propaganda organs, those which President Trump rightfully referred to as “fake news,” but, as well, that of the conservative (and libertarian) media outlets that, in their way, also purvey fake news. (“BE STRONG–and Live WELL.”)

(“Of Fraudulence and Fear: The GOP/Big Conservative Media Machine“)

And from Post-2020: The Time for NeverGOP“:

… your average conservative [must move] beyond his comfort zone and adopt a mindset dramatically different in many respects from anything that he has ever experienced before. It will require the average conservative to liberate himself from the Matrix, the Fake Reality that has been concocted by the Big GAME (Government-Academia-Media-Entertainment) Complex and to the construction of which the Republican Party and Big Conservative media axis has contributed much.

… There is mountainous, incalculable, ubiquitous evidence that the country has steadily moved, and continues to move, leftward.  Due to space constraints, however, I won’t bother going back decades.  I’ll keep it simple and just focus on…2020.

Consider all that has occurred since just last March:

Almost overnight, the country bequeathed to us by the generation that, in the midst of a smallpox epidemic, fought and defeated the most powerful empire in the world in order to be a self-governing union of sovereign states—subjected itself to a nationwide internment.

The United State of America became the Interned States of America as the Constitution of the Old Republic was indefinitely revoked, the economy crushed, and “the little platoons”—as Burke referred to those buffers between the individual and the State, those forms of community constitutive of civil society and in the absence of which human flourishing would be impossible—were radically undermined. …

… And all of this occurred in a country with a Republican President, a Republican-controlled Senate, a Supreme Court dominated by Republican appointees, and a majority of whose state legislatures and governors are Republican.

Then, but two months after the Internment began, Black Lives Matter and Antifa violence exploded throughout hundreds of American cities. Police stood down as they and, crucially, their supporters were victimized by thugs.  The White House itself was besieged as monuments to American heroes and other symbols of Western civilization were vandalized and destroyed with impunity while both the street vermin who were directly culpable for the destruction as well as the vermin who funded this campaign escaped the punishment that they deserved.

And all of this occurred in a country with a Republican President, a Republican-controlled Senate, a Supreme Court dominated by Republican appointees, and a majority of whose state legislatures and governors are Republican. …

“The Republicans, along with Big Conservative media, not only didn’t prevent it; they encouraged it.”

Yes, MAGA voters handed the Republicans the presidency and both legislative chambers. There is nothing more voters can do.

So, why exactly is it imperative to vote Republican?  How, exactly, will Republicans stop the left, and stop them from doing what, exactly?  These are the questions that honest people, and honest conservatives, must ask themselves—even though the questions are self-evidently rhetorical. ” (“Post-2020: The Time for NeverGOP“)

UPDATE (3/9/021):

The GOP is RIP to me: Typically, Sen. John Kennedy, with his contrived Southern act (he’s Ivy League) and rehearsed, overwrought cracks, puts Trump’s party back decades, tells “Fox News Primetime” host Trey Gowdy that Americans love 1 million legal immigrants coming in annually, object ONLY to illegal, Biden-created chaos on border.

Rich Republicans Denying Desperate Americans Funds Don’t Get That The Small-Government Ship Has Sailed

COVID-19, Debt, Economy, Foreign Aid, Government, Hollywood, Politics, Republicans, Ron Paul, The State, Welfare

From Mitt Romney to Rand Paul, quite a number of oleaginous Republicans are opposing President Donald Trump’s push for bigger $2,000 stimulus checks.

These Republicans have “expressed concerns that $2,000 checks would cost the government too much money. Increasing the original $600 direct payments would mean the government would have to borrow another $464 billion.”

Has Rand Paul lost it? He says,

“I think giving money to people, though, who are already working—look, my kids are working and don’t need a check. They’re not rich, but they don’t need a check. And most working Americans don’t need a check right now,” he said.
“It’s a really foolish, eggheaded, left-wing, socialist idea to pass out free money to people,” Paul went on. “So I part ways with the president on giving people free money.”

It’s when politicians point to their kids as exemplars of ordinary working stiffs—that the gag reflex kicks in.

As to “free money”: The money is the people’s money returned to its rightful owners. You, sir, are getting free money. Politicians, paid out of taxes, are thieves–never wealth creators, but, rather, wealth consumers–and worse, parasites.

The Bill squanders minted money overseas and stateside, such as on  authorizing “a Smithsonian Women’s History Museum and a National Museum of the American Latino.” Foreign aid, of course, being a government-to-government grant, seldom helps anyone but the corrupt bureaucrats in charge of its dispersal.

Here is what’s in the “$2.3 trillion COVID-19 relief and government funding bill“:

  • $4 billion for New York’s MTA as part of bailouts for mass-transit systems.
  • $15 billion earmarked toward grant programs for live entertainment venues such as Broadway.
  • $7 billion toward expanding broadband access.
  • $1.4 billion for a construction of a wall on the southern US border.
  • A new law saying that violating copyright laws with unauthorized online streaming will become a felony punishable by five years in prison for first offenses and 10 years for repeat offenses. Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC) pushed the provision.
  • A rule saying the US Postal Service can no longer deliver e-cigarettes.
  • $500 million earmarked for Israeli defense purchases, including to equip the Iron Dome missile defense system.
  • $250 million over five years for Palestinian economic aid, which was pushed by New York Democratic Rep. Nita Lowey.
  • $2.5 million for “Internet freedom programs in closed societies”
  • $10 million for “gender programs” meant to help women get education and start businesses in Pakistan.

To their credit, Trumpian Republicans—Senators Lindsey Graham, Marco Rubio, Susan Collins, David Perdue, Kelly Loeffler and Deb Fischer—have distanced themselves from the inappropriate objections, coming from their camp, to money for desperate Americans whose livelihoods have been destroyed by state response to COVID.

However, other Republican senators—John Cornyn, James Inhofe, Martha Blackburn, Pat Toomey, Roy Blunt, Rand Paul, Mitt Romney—have demonstrated a corporate, Beltway sensibility, as detached as that of the Democrats.

Most ludicrous is that these Republicans still believe there’s a case to be made for “small government.” Have they looked at the debt clock? Do they think the American State will ever again be small; can ever be shrunk?

The Small-Government ship has sailed and some Republicans don’t even know it.

The Future of Medicine in America: Whites Go To The Back Of The Proverbial Bus

America, Britain, COVID-19, Criminal Injustice, Ethics, Morality, Race, Racism, The West

In Britain, where the image appended originates, “authorities are getting the vaccine to their elderly as quickly as they can.” As dysfunctional and perfidious as Albion certainly is, there doesn’t seem to be any debate over the urgent need to protect the vulnerable elderly. It’s what a civilized society does.

The future of medicine in America is somewhat different. The “idea” is not to get too fixated on the old, who are dying of the China Virus. After all, America’s elderly are overwhelmingly white and hence privileged.

That is the immoral non sequitur coming from the nation’s ethicists. Non sequitur why? Because, from the fact that one is old, it doesn’t follow that one is white and privileged. Moreover, from the moral point of view, determining who shall live and who shall die based on race is indeed eugenics. Tucker Carlson called it out courageously .

Apparently, in America, eugenics practiced against whites by other whites emulating God is morally redeemable.

In America The Radical, those chosen to apply ethics to questions of public policy are morally and intellectually bankrupt. Profoundly so. One Harald Schmidt (whatever happened to the spelling of “Harold”? Too white, as in grammatical?) has advised the CDC that,

“Older populations are whiter. [sic] Society is structured in a way that enables them to live longer. Instead of giving additional health benefits to those who already have more of them, we can start to level the playing field a bit.”

As others have pointed out, the discrimination is not even based on empirical evidence (see “Essential workers should get coronavirus vaccine before the elderly, experts tell NYT“):

“…he’s wrong—Asians and Hispanics have greatest life expectancy in US,” wrote Christina Hoff Sommers. According to data compiled by worldlifeexpectancy.com from the CDC and NIH, Asian Americans have a life expectancy of 86.67 and Hispanic Americans, 82.89. White Americans have a life expectancy of 79.12.

Writes Tucker Carlson:

But in this country, a panel of ideologues at the CDC has decided that the elderly should not be at the front of the line. The CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) has made a different determination, and the reasoning is simple: Old people in this country are too White to save. They even put it in writing.

Last month, the CDC’s Vaccine Advisory Committee unanimously approved recommendations from a doctor called Kathleen Dooling. According to her presentation, it is true that more lives would be saved if the elderly receive priority access to the vaccine. But here’s the problem: “Racial and ethnic minority groups [are] under-represented [sic] among adults” age 65 and older. Therefore, the elderly should not be a top priority.

According to the CDC panel, another group, those officially classified as “non-healthcare essential workers”, should get the vaccine first. Why is that? Because “racial and ethnic minority groups [are] disproportionately represented in many essential industries.”

In other words, it’s entirely racial. They’re making the decision based on race. Kathleen Dooling’s presentation concluded that doling out life-saving medicine on the basis of skin color would “mitigate health inequities.” Of course it would kill people, and she effectively concedes that. But the people it would kill come from a disfavored race, so it’s not a big deal.

It’s been a very long time since anyone close to what we would consider the mainstream has endorsed eugenics, but that’s exactly what this is. Earlier this month, The New York Times, supposedly our greatest newspaper, interviewed Harald Schmidt, a leading expert on medical ethics and vaccination at the University of Pennsylvania.

Here’s how Harald Schmidt advised the CDC: “Older populations are whiter. [sic] Society is structured in a way that enables them to live longer. Instead of giving additional health benefits to those who already have more of them, we can start to level the playing field a bit.”

This anti-white pathology emanates from American academics. The dishonorable Harald Schmidt should be stripped of his “ethicist” honorific. Institutions that teach such ethics as Harald espouses ought to be discredited, certainly not attended.

Schmidt is an anti-white activist. And, I’d urge Mr. Carlson to vaporize less about the “identity politics that divides us.” For, as I’ve argued, “It’s Not ‘Identity Politics,’ It’s Anti-White Politics”:

Every time a manifestly racist, anti-white event goes down, which is frequently, conservative media call it “identity politics.” “The left is playing identity politics.”
Whatever is convulsing the country, it’s not identity politics. For, blacks are not being pitted against Hispanics. Hispanics are not being sicced on Asians, and Ameri-Indians aren’t being urged to attack the groups just mentioned. Rather, they’re all piling on honky. Hence, anti-white politics or animus.

Having exposed this horror, a logical extension of the institutionalization of progressivism and the Critical Race Theory rot, it would be immensely helpful if the courageous Mr. Carlson and the timid conservative commentariat dropped the “identity politics” fig-leaf in favor of “anti-white politics”:

Undergirding the factional identity politics so roundly condemned is a practiced anti-whiteness.  Hispanic, LGBT, plutocrat and feminist: All would concur. The road to their political salvation is in collaborating to extinguish “white dominant culture.” —ilana mercer

Subways And Light Rail Are Sealed Sarcophaguses, COVID Incubators

COVID-19, Government, The State

Washington State’s soulless technocrats are wasting billions in trying to stuff unwilling commuters into light rail sarcophaguses. Instead of the more traditional buses, a fraction of the cost, the collective of cretins that runs the state keeps digging up highways to put down tracks.

If we are to believe the elites, the dumb Demos have voted to expand this transit system so, like the State itself, light rail’s tentacles will reach into every community.

In the age of COVID, subways and light rail are a dubious proposition, although the latter are way worse.

Writes “Rising Serpent” on Twitter: “It takes elite level dumbfuckery to convince people that riding a subway—basically a porta potty on wheels hurtling though a dank, dark terribly ventilated underground system of tunnels with no air exchange—is safe, while going to a restaurant, church or gym is not.”

And it takes plebeian-level dumbfuckery to believe the elites.
