John McCain: George Soros’ Favorite Republican

Senator John McCain has renewed his war of words with the president. McCain just received something called the “Liberty Award” at the hands of his close friend, former Vice-President Joe Biden. He used the occasion to launch a wide-ranging attack on the president and his foreign policy, although not mentioning him by name.

What caught my attention in particular was McCain’s statement that “We live in a land made of ideals, not blood and soil.” McCain’s phrase illustrates the very clear defining wall, the unbridgeable chasm, that divides traditional conservatives who do believe that we live in a country to which our ancestors came largely in communities of like ethnic origin and ancestry, specifically for land and for their families and on behalf of which they shed their blood—from those who envisage this country as founded upon various nebulous “propositions” about universal equality and “making the [whole] world safe for democracy.”

It is the radical difference between those of us who inherited the proud legacy and belief from our ancestors that our country is a nation of families in communities, baptized in patriots’ blood, toil and tears, and those whose ideological zeal impels them to turn the nation into a “cause.” It is the chasm that puts John McCain and the Neoconservatives on the side of the fanatical Left and denies to them, in effect, the title of “conservative” which they so earnestly desire.

To use McCain’s words and refute them, our belief is not that we hold to a “half-baked, spurious nationalism,” as he calls it, but to our familial traditions and heritage and to the land we are attached to and love. Our hope, our desire, is to pass on that inheritance, undamaged as much as possible, to our offspring—not to send those offspring to fight in never-ending civil wars to “establish liberal democracy” and protect same sex marriage in every remote desert oasis or jungle on the face of the globe.

The Arizona senator’s reasoning may have much to do with the financial largesse he has received and continues to receive from George Soros, the globalist billionaire and fierce advocate of a New World Order. It is Soros’s goal that the world’s nations disappear into some international socialist super-state. In addition to indirectly funding the “Resist” Trump movement, Black Lives Matter and the Antifa revolutionaries, he has spent billions of dollars to support subversive activities in those countries that are recalcitrant and hesitant to accept globalist control. Most recently, Hungary and Russia are two prime examples in Europe of nations that firmly resist Soros and his billions that have been funneled to “domestic” subversion in those states. But Viktor Orban in Hungary and Vladimir Putin in Russia are fighting back.

Soros, through his pass-through Open Society Foundation, has handsomely supported McCain and his McCain Institute for International Leadership to the tune of millions of dollars. And what is palpably evident  is that when it comes to lapping up the crumbs of Big Brother, John McCain is right there, tongue always out, eagerly doing the Deep State’s bidding. He is, above all, the “Republican that leftist Democrats love.”

They’ve Incited War With Russia, Now The UniParty Is Worried About … ‘World War III’

Republican Senator Bob Corker is worried that President Trump is “reckless enough to stumble [sic] the country into a nuclear war.” This from the two War Parties who’ve not stopped egging Trump on about Russia, fomenting American aggression against that potential partner. The president wanted—was willing—to make peace with Russian; the UniParty would have none of it. Now DemoPublicans are worried.

President Trump has failed miserably in forging forward with peace vis-a-vis Russia and sending out competent spokespersons to explain that campaign promise and the attendant policy of diplomacy and American First.

… Senator Bob Corker, the Republican chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, charged in an interview on Sunday that President Trump was treating his office like “a reality show,” with reckless threats toward other countries that could set the nation “on the path to World War III.”

In an extraordinary rebuke of a president of his own party, Mr. Corker said he was alarmed about a president who acts “like he’s doing ‘The Apprentice’ or something.”

“He concerns me,” Mr. Corker added. “He would have to concern anyone who cares about our nation.”

Mr. Corker’s comments capped a remarkable day of sulfurous insults between the president and the Tennessee senator — a powerful, if lame-duck, lawmaker, whose support will be critical to the president on tax reform and the fate of the Iran nuclear deal. …

… In an interview with The New York Times on Sunday, Mr. Corker responded to a series of Twitter attacks on him by Mr. Trump. He said that the president was running the White House like it was “a reality show” and with bellicose threats that could set the nation “on the path to World War III.” Mr. Corker added that “every single day at the White House, it’s a situation of trying to contain him.”

Other Republican lawmakers, while privately nodding their heads, remained conspicuously silent on Monday morning, and many Senate Republicans no doubt were relieved not to be in session this week in Washington, where they would be intercepted in the hallways of the Capitol by reporters asking them to comment on Mr. Corker’s remarks. …

… Mr. Corker expressed concern shortly after the inauguration that Mr. Trump was a “wrecking ball” to American foreign policy but he largely tempered his criticism in hopes of helping to steer the nation’s first president to serve without any political or military background.

By last week, that hope was clearly gone. As Mr. Tillerson publicly denied he was considering resignation without denying that he had once called the president a “moron” — he let a spokeswoman deny it later — Mr. Corker volunteered that the secretary of state and two other officials were the only thing that “separate our country from chaos.”

Mr. Trump responded over the weekend by calling Mr. Corker “a negative voice” who “didn’t have the guts to run” for another term. Mr. Corker fired back on Twitter by saying “the White House has become an adult care center” and “someone obviously missed their shift.” He followed up with the Times interview. …

UPDATED (12/2): Puerto-Rican Politicians & Activists Using POTUS As Their Piñata

The American media and manipulative Puerto-Rican politicians are using President Trump as a piñata. Poke and pound him and the American taxpayer enough until, stateside, everyone is soon apologizing for merely existing, and coughing up into the coffers of corrupt representatives.

By all means, help the largely tax-exempt Puerto Rico territory. But realize, admit and quit the cover-up of the fact that Puerto Rico is a socialized, fiscally bankrupt, systemically corrupt “welfare state with a labor force participation rate one-third less than in the United States.” Wondering why there’s no power and water? “The major Puerto Rican state-owned or controlled enterprises are all losing money, including the power authority which is insolvent”:

… Puerto Rico has a bloated government with far too many employees, unstainable pension obligations, and an intolerable level of corruption. The proper solution to the Puerto Rican debt problem is for the U.S. government to establish a “control board,” which Congress has the authority to do. This past Friday, Rep. Jeff Duncan, South Carolina Republican, of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, sent a letter to his fellow lawmakers advocating a control board for Puerto Rico, much like the one they created for the District of Columbia a couple of decades back, when D.C. was in danger of default because of mismanagement.

Puerto Rico needs fundamental restructuring of its pension and civil service systems. It needs to sell all of its interests in the fully or partially state-owned enterprises. That is, privatize them. (How many more hundreds of years will we need before the political class learns that socialism — i.e. state-owned enterprises — always fails)? In Hong Kong, even most of the transportation infrastructure is in private hands — and it is clean, efficient, attractive, and works without government subsidies.

Puerto Rico needs to radically reduce government spending, taxes and regulation so it begins to attract foreign capital again rather than driving it away. Puerto Rico is now a welfare state with a labor force participation rate one-third less than in the United States. Many of the most productive Puerto Ricans have moved to the mainland — but could be attracted back with their high-level job skills if the economic environment was made attractive again. Puerto Rico needs to embrace the Hong Kong economic freedom model, rather than the Greek model of too much government. …

Commentator Jack Kerwick has no mercy for Ms. Ann Coulter (although he’s very nice about Mercer), in his American Greatness article. Myself, I find it enormously useful that Ann is doing the work this immigrant does not want to do.

I kept up 8 years of attacks on Genghis Bush. I’m tired. Ms. Coulter has the broad professional shoulders to tackle Trump. Let Ann keep Trump on his toes (although I doubt it’s possible; the man is a dud). Ann used to be a GOPer, now she’s The People’s warrior. A patriot disappointed will rage.
