UPDATED (2/7): BRAVO: A US Marine Who Puts Americans FIRST

Homeland Security, Islam, Middle East, Military, Nationhood, Neoconservatism

A neoconservative wish-come-true is for the Empire’s Army to be loyal to the satellite states (Iraq, etc.) and the mission; not to Americans first. These, unfortunately, can no longer be conflated. They should be, but are not, one and the same thing.

This remarkable US Marine, however, is unwilling to think as he is trained to think by a military brass that increasingly flouts its limited, constitutional obligations. Here’s a Marine whose fidelity isn’t to Empire, but to America First, to his fellow Americans. This Marine has certainly not been afflicted with a Lawrence of Arabia complex. Bravo.

… the military is government. The military works like government; is financed like government, and sports many of the same inherent malignancies of government. Like government, it must be kept small. Conservatives can’t coherently preach against the evils of big government, while excluding the military mammoth.

UPDATED (2/5): Gavin McInnes Dishes Old News About Fox News

Conservatism, Media, Neoconservatism, Political Correctness, Republicans

Gavin McInnes has discovered what I’ve chronicled for 15 years: Fox News is NOT rightist, the network pussyfoots around the Left, cares more about showcasing boobs than brains, practices affirmative action, for women and minorities (they cowered before “Motormouth Megyn Kelly & The Mad Matriarchy”), is hell of a timid about daring opinion (yes, where’s Ann Coulter, Fox News?), and hated on Donald Trump. You know all that and more if you’ve been reading this space  (for example: “The Murdoch Media: Root ‘N Branch For Marcobot”).

That’s why you’ll find the adjective “banal” paired with Fox News in all books and writings originating here. Neoconservatives all, with few exceptions.

A pity McInnes sounds a little desperate. Red Eye, which he seems to lament losing, is unwatchable (ditto the Greg Guttfeld Show). It stinks of smarmy, unfunny idiots. The only good moments were when McInnes ranted in character. Scottish character. Once upon a time the show allowed this outrageous female comedian to host. She was so brutally wonderful that … they never had her back again.

Greg Gutfeld? I don’t think so.

Why The Globalists In Washington Hate Russia

Foreign Policy, Neoconservatism, Russia

The pious Yankee mindset is to force “our values” on others through war or other belligerence. The Russians don’t share our values. They must be cowed into submission. Writing in Chronicles Magazine, Denis Petrov captures the essence of Washington’s Russophobia. Why Washington’s? Because looking for a brawl with the Russian Bear (also battling Islam) works for Washington and its “expert” and think-tank industry. It goes against the interests of the American people:

Consider Russia’s laws against “gay propaganda”: There are no “gay pride” marches in Moscow. Russia has resisted the expansion of NATO and the extension of E.U. influence to Ukraine. Putin has asserted Russian national interests, defending Moscow’s independent foreign-policy course. In short, Russia is a retrograde, “homophobic,” nationalistic roadblock on the way to the globalist millennium. No wonder Hillary Clinton has compared Putin to Hitler: In her eyes, it all makes perfect sense. Putin and Russia symbolize all that the globalist mind despises. The globalists’ visceral hostility to Russia is not merely a hangover from the Cold War or an excuse for the perpetuation of a vast U.S. military-industrial-security complex—though hostility is stoked by those things as well. Russia and Putin are manifestations of what neocon and neoliberal globalists see as atavistic resistance to global progress; the world revolution demands that obstacles be removed from its path.
