UPDATED (8/2): The “Passion” Of Anthony Scaramucci

Celebrity, Donald Trump, Etiquette, Healthcare, Media, Republicans

Is the passion of Anthony Scaramucci real, or just phony, folksy, showy populism, fit for the Fake News Media and a gullible population? Are Americans being played by crooked politicians and power-brokers? It won’t be a first.

(And where’s The Wall? The fight for immigration bans and moratorium?)

UPDATE (8/2): “Like any father would do”:

UPDATED (7/25): Republicans Or Democrats: Who’s More Tiresomely PC?

Conservatism, Democrats, Free Speech, Left-Liberalism And Progressivisim, libertarianism, Logic, Political Correctness, Reason, Republicans

Conservatives habitually engage in this asinine, “No, Democrats are the sexist and racist party blah, blah; we’re the good party, party of Lincoln.” “No, liberals project onto us vices they’re guilty of and we’re free of; they do what they say we do.”

Such group thinkers all.

Any libertarian worth his salt hates this thought-crime policing on both sides. Who cares who’s sexist? Who cares if you have impolitic and impolite thoughts? The more improper thinking is expressed out loud; the more we break down barriers to politically risque thinking erected by both parties. (For instance, what I said in “THE WAR ON TRUMP: The Big Picture for Conservatives, Libertarians & Liberals” was verboten in conservative circles.)

Here Mike Cernovich rejoices, via a retweet, in the GOP nominating members of so-called marginalized identity groups. If you’re all about merit and individualism, not identity, why the hell do you care? Why partake in this idiotic, Democratic dance?

There’s no difference in modus operandi between the parties. Both window dress and virtue signal and accuse each other of not doing these enough.

Another incident sees Cernovich scold the awful Ana Navarro (we have a dossier on her: http://barelyablog.com/?s=Ana+Navarro) for being nasty about Jared Kushner. Why? Navarro is right. Why is Cernovich loving on Kushner?

Kushner looks and sound like a boy in transition.

From my, “What Ivanka Wants, Ivanka Gets”:

The man’s a mouse. … The poor man looks low T—like he might one day go the way of Bruce Jenner, now Caitlyn Jenner. (I love LGBTQ, so long as they come in peace.)

Not Jared’s fault. However, Jared’s bloody bad for the country, as well. But conservatives, being part of one tribe, must defend this nincompoop, rather than rejoice that the boring Ana Navarro is being bad, breaking with political propriety. Next, cons will force Navarro to apologize to the transgender Jared.

UPDATE (7/25): THREAD ON FACEBOOK.

Both these good people (Democrats like Gabbard and Webb) are in my book as must cabinet picks for Trump. The days that I imagined prez had the good sense to follow his promise and ignore the Manhattan La Familia are GONE.

The ‘Russians Did It! Canard Continued

Donald Trump, IMMIGRATION, Republicans, Russia

By Dr. Boyd D. Cathey

The “Russians Did It!” canard is alive and well, with each day bringing one more “leak,” dressed up in Deep State “drag” to resemble “a threat to the republic,” “collusion,” or, maybe—they hope—“treason.” The latest “event,” splattered all over MSNBC and CNN and The New York Times, is that during a formal banquet for the members of the G-20 and their wives in Hamburg, Germany, President Trump walked over to join his wife (who had been seated next to Vladimir Putin at the dinner table) for a few minutes, and chatted for a few minutes with “the new Hitler”!

Heaven help us and our national security!! Another “meeting,” another previously-unrevealed conversation between Trump and his puppet-master! Where are James Bond and John Le Carre when we need them? Of course, the fact that this brief encounter happened in the presence and earshot of the other presidents, notables, and their wives, in public, makes absolutely no difference to the Mainstream Media [MSM]. Or, to quote a couple of unhinged Democratic congressmen: “Any meeting with a Russian is a meeting with an agent and spy for the Russian government!”

And, so now, I must also confess my guilt. You see when I was a doctoral grad student in the University of Navarra in Spain, I had a good friend (he was a roommate for one semester) who was a Russian. His name was Yevgeny [Russian for “Eugene”], and I seem to remember that his family—I believe his last name was Sheremetev—had been exiles since the 1920s. But, alas, now I know—since he was a Russian and he was desirous of being my friend, obviously he was plying me for intel and information! And, yes, I admit it, I discussed all sorts of things with him, and I probably revealed all sorts of very important details and privileged secrets: how many students were in my graduating class at Garner High School, my father’s military history during World War II, my involvement as a student in politics, and my girlfriends. Alas, I am certain that, according to those Democrat congressmen and Deep State masters, I engaged in “collusion”! And, now, I am worried that black, blinded SUVs, with Washington DC license plates, will be stationed outside my humble house …. Will I be called before Congress to testify? Do any of you know a good attorney who might defend me pro bono?

VOTER FRAUD
The president’s commission on potential voter fraud is running into stiff opposition. Former Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach was named by the president to head a bipartisan Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity to investigate thoroughly and prepare a report on any voting irregularities or fraud, including possible voting by illegal aliens. Remember that the media and Democrats ridiculed the president’s claim that possibly several million illegal votes may have been cast this past November. They assured us: It didn’t happen, there is no evidence. Okay, said the president, I’ll name a commission to investigate the question, which is exactly what he did. So, now, as the Kobach Commission requests information on voter rolls [which is, in fact, public information] from the states, the commission has met with push-back and refusals, and the MSM is screaming bloody-murder. And, just yesterday the Congressional Black Caucus demanded [it’s always a “demand” with those folks!] that Kobach be fired.

But, why? If there is no illegal voting, no election fraud, why would they be so unhinged and frenzied in attacking the work of the commission? Aha, you see, their response is that the commission’s activities signal an attempt at “voter suppression” of minorities, immigrants, poor folks—in other words, the Democratic dependent blocs. Thus, the real reason emerges from the political rhetorical muck: “Those illegal voters, those non-citizens, those illegal aliens, those thousands of dead people in Cook County, Chicago and elsewhere, all those folks are OUR folks! How dare you question THEIR ‘right’ to vote!”

And the implication here goes to the very heart of their playbook: The United States has become, for them, a “universal nation” for which there are NO borders and which is open to ANY refugee or illegal immigrant, as long as, that is, that person will become a part of the bloated congerie and motley crew of dependent Democratic minority and pressure groups. That’s the real reason … and, again, most of the GOP is AWOL.

Hiring Another Swamp Creature For The FBI

Donald Trump, Government, Islam, Republicans, Terrorism

“Hiring Another Swamp Creature For The FBI” is the new column, now on Townhall.com. An excerpt:

Christopher Wray, President Donald Trump’s FBI director nominee, seems a perfectly nice man. But nothing he has said during confirmation hearings on July 12 distinguishes him as someone who would reform Barack Hussein Obama’s Islamophilic FBI.

President Trump ran on a quixotic set of ideas about aggressively stopping Islamic terror. Like a fly-in-amber, the standard operating procedures (SOP) governing the Obama Federal Bureau of Investigation guarantee to preserve the same systemic, intractable failures that unleashed mass murderer Omar Mateen or Syed Farook and bride Tashfeen Malik, to maim and murder dozens of Americans.

From Wray’s comments to the Senate Judiciary Committee, we know how he’ll bravely break with President Trump, but that he’s partial to his predecessor, James Comey. To wit, Wray said he sided with Comey in rejecting a domestic surveillance program in 2004, “… not because he knew the substance of the dispute,” but because of his affection for Comey.

Given his unalloyed loyalty, Wray’ll be unlikely to remove from FBI training manuals the fiction about Jihad being a peaceful pillar of the Islamic faith.

To get a sense of how the outfit being glorified by the Senate panel operates, consider this: You hire a private firm to protect you, only to discover that, as part of your protection plan, your protectors undergo sensitivity training to desensitize them to potential perpetrators and evil-doers, thus giving the latter easy access to you and yours. This “strategy” would endanger your life. The company executing this harebrained scheme, moreover, would be in violation of its contractual obligation to keep you safe. If you came to harm, you’d sue.

But first, fire the fools before they get you killed.

Thanks to the president, we can only hope that firing the director of the FBI will become a new norm. For among his many other “virtues,” former FBI Director Comey believes that “unless [his] passport is revoked,” an American citizen who holds an American passport and who has fought for ISIS—maybe even decapitated a dhimmi or two—“is entitled to come back” to the US. We know this because Comey said it on “60 Minutes”!

In 2014, he was asked about the status of the fighters America, unwittingly, exports to ISIS Land. This sanctimonious civil servant, traitor to the people who pay for his keep, promised to “track [the fighters] very carefully,” after he let them in.

At the time, anchor Megyn Kelly had aptly used the word treason, although she applied it exclusively to ISIS-Americans, when they, at least, were being true to their vampiric god. To whom was Comey being true? Certainly not to the law. In Judge Andrew Napolitano’s telling, the federal government’s top law enforcement agent didn’t know the law [or, was willfully ignoring it]:

“[Comey] forgot there’s a statute called providing material assistance to a terrorist organization. So, if he knows that Americans have been fighting with ISIS and he also knows that the secretary of state has declared ISIS a terrorist organization, that is more than enough evidence for him to arrest them upon their re-entry to the U.S. It is crazy to let them back in and wait and see what they do.”

That’s our crazy Comey. And the new guy, Christopher Wray, loves him just the way he is.

Another swamp creature for whom Wray has “enormous respect” is former FBI Director Robert Mueller. “[T]he consummate straight shooter,” gushed Wray. …
