Mercer At The 2010 HL Mencken Club

Barely A Blog,Ilana Mercer,,Political Correctness,South-Africa

I will speaking at the 3rd annual meeting of the HL Mencken Club, which will take place on Friday, October 22, through Sunday, October 24, 2010, at the Holiday Inn BWI, in Linthicum, Maryland, just outside Baltimore.”

I’ll be discussing my new book, Into The Cannibal’s Pot: Lessons For the West From Post-Apartheid South Africa. The book, unfortunately, is still in the publishing works.

But please purchase your copy of my libertarian manifesto, Broad Sides: One Woman’s Clash With A Corrupt Society, and join me for a preview of an important work of which I am very proud.

The suburb of Linthicum is adjacent to BWI airport. Southwest Airlines flies to BWI from most major cities in the Lower 48. So, interested readers can readily access the meeting of the Club.

Just my luck – the event is close to home, but I’ll be half the world away at the time. I’m sure it will be outstanding.

[Horrid. Where are you off to?]

The check is in the mail. I’ll check if it makes sense to stop by at my nephew & wife’s house after Saturday to meet their umteen macaw, cockatoo, African Grey, and other assorted birds…..

Maryland should be beautifully arrayed in fall colors at that time, Unfortunately, I will have to miss both yours and it’s presentation this time. Hopefully, you will have an enjoyable time as well as a successful event.
