Moratorium On Immigration

Affirmative Action,Economy,IMMIGRATION,Labor

Asks Pat Buchanan: “with nearly 25 million Americans unemployed, or no longer looking for work, or in low-wage part-time jobs, 8.5 million U.S. jobs are believed to be held by illegal aliens who broke into the country or overstayed their visas. Why is this not a matter of national outrage?

For every job opening in the country, there are six unemployed Americans… there are six Americans out of work for every job opening, it is time to call a moratorium on immigration. Why are we bringing into the United States over a million legal immigrants a year to compete for jobs against 15 million to 25 million Americans who can’t find work or full-time jobs to take care of their families?”

“How dare you come with logical arguments, you heartless so-and-so,” or something to that effect. You should rather be thankful that the US and Mexico don’t have a “citizen exchange” program whereby each illegal immigrant to the US will cause one American citizen (preferably of the freedom loving orientation) to be exported to the Mexican workers’ paradise.

The immigration flood is an attack on our sovereignty by the ruling class which seeks total power. It took only 4 years to win WWII; the goal in Afghanistan is not to win but to demoralize the country. The excess spending is intended to devalue the currency and spike inflation. The war against America is being waged from within by our own media and our own leaders, who despise the constitutional limitation on their power. The communists have a blueprint for every political situation, and they have been working tirelessly against America to implement it. Our education system was written by communists so it is no wonder that most Americans are only interested in their i pods and American Idol.

The immigration fiasco is just one of the things that should be met with national outrage but isn’t. I’m not sure this country is able to generate any outrage, except over the results on American Idol.

We are deflating our money, spending more than we earn, creating new bills to depreciate what we have (cap and trade,) creating national health care, unfunded because as the president said,”We’re out of money.” V-Dare just had an article stating that the president’s office is hamstringing what illegal immigration law we have. President Obama just received the Nobel Peace Prize for advancing all of the aforementioned items. In view of that, why would anyone even consider a halt to “Legal Immigration?”

Large numbers of un-employed Americans creates a large block of voters dependant on the government for social benefits.
Large numbers of illegal “immigrants” add to the dependant voting block as in many states, influence from groups like ACORN insure that they can vote.
Politicians who are proponents of big government support policies which increase the numbers of un-employed Americans and illegal “immigrants”.
The issue is all about maintaining power.

When you keep a saucer of milk and a plate of tuna on the front porch, it isn’t surprising if the neighborhood cats show up.

Difference between securing our Southern Border and “putzing around” in Afghanistan – there is NO WAY to target the US from Afghanistan. No ICBM’s or bombers can reach us from there. Yes, someone can “hide” in Afghanistan (or hide in Montana like the Unabomber or live in Motel-6’s in Orlando like Mohammed Atta….) but we cannot be attacked FROM Afghanistan. On the other hand, people can cross over from Mexico and rob, steal, rape, etc. (or take jobs away). So what do the Republicrats and the Demoplicans do – fight in Afghanistan (as if we can unearth every hiding spot on the planet).

Then people in the Defense Department spend money on trying to find a “technical solution” to the “booby trap” a.k.a. “Improvised Explosive Device (IED) problem” rather than building a protective wall. Naturally, the IED problem will be there if you insist on stomping around in someone else’s country and many/most hate your guts. Fortunately for themselves, the Israelis are not as dumb as the Americans.

Right on Myron! Question: Why does the US INSIST on making enemies around the world? Is it mere greed?

I don’t know the Torah well enough yet to find the equivalent but this from the New Testament:

Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying, “Come here, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters, with whom the kings of the earth committed acts of immorality, and those who dwell on the earth were made drunk with the wine of her immorality.” Revelation 17:1-2

    Doesn’t this sound like US?

I would bet we can still repent since Jerusalem was given many chances to do so according to the Book of Jeremiah.
