When Supreme Court Obama-nominee Sonia Sotomayor boasted that as a “wise Latina woman, with the richness of her experiences,” she “would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male,’ leftists were thrilled,” reminds American Spectator.

More crucially, Sotomayor was alluding to the power of ethnicity and race to sway decision-making IN PEOPLE SO PRONE. When Donald Trump honestly, if in-artfully, alluded to the same appearance of a conflict of interest, likely in operation in the decision-making of Judge Gonzalo Curiel, dumb Republicans like Speaker Paul Ryan, Senator Mitch McConnell and the ambitious Newt Gingrich went berserk. They haven’t stopped.

These people are patsies of the Left; jelly fish ever ready to dissolve in a puddle when the pigment burden is raised.

On a very positive note, at least Newt’s idiotic outburst should rule him out as the Trump running mate Sean Hannity has been pushing.

Fareed Zakaria plagiarizer can to no wrong at CNN. Donning his documentarian’s hat, the taqiyya-talking Zakaria proceeded to editorialize for an hour about “Why They Hate Us.”

“Is Islam an inherently violent religion?” asks Zakaria and answers predictably.

Islam is innocent and so is America’s foreign policy (Zakaria is a neoconservative interventionist).

It’s not theology, it’s politics. Radical Islam is the product of the broken politics and stagnant economics of Muslim countries. They have found in radical religion an ideology that lets them rail against the modern world, an ideology that is now being exported to alienated young Muslims everywhere — in Europe, and even in some rare cases in the United States.

How can we bring an end to this?

This collectivist (Zakaria is an immigrant from India) uses his considerable reach to agitate for yet more involvement and sacrifice on the part of Americans, audacious ruling out anything but this:

There’s really only one way: Help the majority of Muslims fight extremists, reform their faith, and modernize their societies. In doing so, we should listen to those on the front lines, many of whom are fighting and dying in the struggle against jihadis. Donald Trump’s rallies are filled with ordinary, average, peaceable Americans; the Silent Majorly that dare not speak its name. Look at those faces behind him: beaming, sweet and so happy for Trump, their guy. As Trump put it, “We’re having a good time, amazingly, because the subject matter is so bad.”

He loves them. And I kind of do, too. One can’t deny that ordinary Americans are sweet, open people. But they’ve been pushed too far by the Traitor Class, which has empowered the underclass. Trump’s rallies are beautiful inside; ugly outside. The haters, the takers, the entitled, the totalitarians raged outside.

These vandals media have termed protesters. But if you “throw burning T-shirts, plastic bottles and other items at police officers [and their poor horses], overturn trash cans and knock down barricades”—you are a criminal, a vandal and a thug who should be arrested, jailed and prosecuted for damage to property, people and working animals.

For its part, the Albuquerque police has reassured America by … professing pacifism in the face of hooliganism. No arrests were made and no tear gas was used:

What a shame. It’s hardly reassuring to know that in America, vandals who damage property and threaten people and working animals go scot-free.

“We’re going to build a real wall,” said Trump, mentioning that since Bill Clinton signed NAFTA, the number of manufacturing jobs in Albuquerque, New Mexico, has declined by 40 percent.

Trump directed the crowd’s anger at America’s failed leadership, not at the people present, promising that empty factories across the country will open their doors again. The realtor bemoaned the factories that have fallen into disrepair and were standing empty. Factory owners don’t nee low-interest loans, he mocked, which was the bribe offered to job creators by the US government (at the expense of the same stiffed taxpayer).

New Mexico’s Gov. Susana Martinez-–she had endorsed Gang of 8 Marco Rubio—got her comeuppance from Trump for her rude snub of the People’s rally.

“Left-liberalism’s Homo-Eroticism” is this week’s column. It’s now on The Unz Review, where you’ll find my weekly column. (After 15 years, I am no longer with WND.) An excerpt:

A Norwegian male was raped by a Somali asylum seeker. The last term—Somali asylum seeker—is something of a contradiction like the first (Norwegian man). The asylum-seeker honorific is given to practically anyone from the Dark Continent or the Middle-East who washes up on Continental Europe’s shores.

The politician, Karsten Nordal Hauken, who says he’s heterosexual, went public with details of his awful ordeal. “I was raped by a Somalian asylum seeker,” he wrote in a Norwegian newspaper. “My life fell into ruin.”

But it was Nordal Hauken, not his assailant, who proceeded to assault sensibilities with a confession that rivals the crime for reprehensibility. Hyperbole? I don’t think so.

As Hauken, a self-described left-wing feminist, tells it, he has been wracked by guilt because one night of passion has caused his Somali assailant to be returned to sender. After resting up in a Norwegian prison, the rapist is to be deported to Somalia. Hauken laments being overcome by “a strong feeling of guilt and responsibility. I was the reason that he would not be in Norway anymore … .”

And: “I see [the Somali] mostly like a product of an unfair world, a product of an upbringing marked by war and despair.” (This liberal peppers his writing with lots of “likes,” “millennial teen-talk,” as Patrick Buchanan termed these linguistic deformations.) …
