Marc Lamont Hill Should Go Jump In the River Jordan

Of course Marc Lamont Hill shouldn’t be fired purely for his opinion, voiced “during a meeting at the United Nations held for the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People on Wednesday.”

Hill “called for a ‘free Palestine from the river to the sea.'”

Not that stupidity has ever been cause for CNN to fire someone of late. (Chris Cuomo, anyone?) But the guy, Mr. Hill, is really dumb. And/or has an appetite for destruction. Has not Gaza already gone to the dogs? The dogs of war. Indeed it did, back in 2005.

At some point, a utilitarian calculus has to enter into the Palestinian equation. The M.O.P. E (Most Oppressed People Ever) only ever break stuff. (But that, too, is Israel’s fault.)

Most sane Americans look askance at those who suggest that the real estate between the River Jordan and the Mediterranean Sea should be turned over to the Palestinians. ?

Besides, that’ll be The last Stand, like the Hebrews’ stand against the Romans on Masada.

Naturally, having an opinion on a vexing problem is not to be confused with supporting a war in that cause. That’s crazy; even a sleight of hand.

To be charitable, perhaps Hill’s grasp of geography is just really bad. Most Americans didn’t know where “Eyeraq” was when we invaded Iraq, RIP.

To dismiss UN ambassadorship as insignificant a position when it has make that pest, Nikki Haley, an international and national sensation is not a serious position.

While John Bolton did much better than Haley during his UN stint, he, too, was emboldened in his neoconservatism because of his UN credibility.

Bad actors make the best of every foothold they’re given. Nikki Haley, thanks to the credibility POTUS gave her, is now a fixture in national politics and an international star. The US is not better off for elevating one who desecrated Robert E. Lee’s memory.

Likewise would the UN launch Ivanka and Jared into positions of permanence in our politics. This, the conservative-minded among us should dread.

Just listening to Ivanka—the operative words in her vocabulary being “incredible” “incredibly blessed”—would be torture.

To repeat, Ivanka is BAD news period. She was as ringleader of the “Kushner-Cohn Democrats,” who ousted Stephen Bannon from the West Wing, and have also been gunning for John Kelly, an excellent man.

On Daddy’s coattails has Ivanka Trump inveigled her way into the People’s House, where she’ll ambitiously promote her anemic husband and their joint agenda.
More than anything, Ivanka and Jared crave respectability. Both have been scarred by the scandals of their fathers. Befitting young Democrats in high society, the Kushners would like to be able to press flesh with local and global elites. …

Not on Deplorables’ dime.

Ann Coulter would be spectacular as a UN ambassador. Ms. Coulter’s insistence on unleashing Ivanka of Deplorables for decades to come—for that’s what a position in the UN would yield—is no good.

We dodged a bullet: The ambitious, liberal Ivanka Trump won’t be replacing neoconservative Nikki Hailey as UN ambassador.

But was POTUS floating an Ivanka trial balloon? Pray not. There is no winning when the Jarvanka duo is in charge.

One thing is certain: Jared Kushner is NO “hidden genius.” But as she exited the door, neocon Nikki Haley (herself no genius) has been proclaiming Jarvanka to be geniuses. Why? And what’s going on?!

As I’ve warned in past posts, “Haley, is a provincial idiot—a smalltime politician—whom President Trump has turned into a global power broker.” Likely at the behest of his daughter Ivanka. Haley is her close pal.

The same can be said for the woman rumored to replace Nimrata Haley: Dina Powel. She is “former adviser to Ivanka and now on Trump’s National Security Council.” As I pointed out in “The Matriarchy Is Gunning For John Kelly,” Powel “is a relic from Goldman Sachs and an Ivanka recruit.”

Powel is not only a liberal, but a member of the “‘Kushner-Cohn Democrats’ who ousted Stephen Bannon from the West Wing, and are, no doubt, gunning for John Kelly.”

Watch your backs, Deplorables.

TV Judge Napolitano’s Nonsensical Indictment Of Trump Border Policy

Judge Napolitano is a left-libertarian. Always said so. On this site, I have often  exposed and argued against  his lefty exploits. Here he essentially asserts that if X trespasses into your home, you can’t, in natural law, remove him. Crap. I hazard that, were you to research this bit of Napolitano legalism, you’d find he’s hiding/finessing certain aspects of due-process jurisprudence.

UPDATE (7/2): I might not have phrased my words above well. Responses on Facebook certainly indicate so. My bad. I am a huge proponent of natural law. However, I think Napolitano here is not articulating natural justice at all, but is full of it. His is more legalism than natural law. I am sure there is a state-passed law somewhere that judges like him can use to criminalize what President Trump is doing. I doubt it’s natural law. Where in natural law does it imply that trespassers have to be kept in their natural clans and formations? That nonsense would be the purview of the positive law, most certainly “international law.”
