The excerpt is from my new column, now on Taki’s Magazine, “Big Man Obama and His Diversity Princess”:

“We’ve been ‘spared’ warning of Strongman Obama’s Orwellian overreach because a Big Man has big guns: the menagerie of morons that is the American media.

The Chief is working in the same tradition as The Decider, only with even less scrutiny and far more impunity.

…the media’s judicial jiu-jitsu has been unconscionable. Are the legal writings and judicial rulings of Judge Sotomayor being scrutinized? Not on your life. Right away, the usual menagerie of morons took on the construction of a meta-argument invalidating the GOP’s yet-to-be-made case against Sotomayor, if you get my drift.

An argument against an argument!

From NBC News’ Andrea Mitchell to the lowliest Democratic strategist: all are advising viewers, first, that to oppose Sotomayor is to risk Hispanic ire. And second, that in order to dodge death by demographics, Republicans must continue to court Latinos slavishly.

For example, making too much of Sotomayor’s Wise Latina Woman cretinous comment is unwise for Republicans, the talking twits tell us. Judge Sotomayor suggested in 2001 that ‘a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life.’

The consensus among the commentariat is that this is no time for the GOP to come to the defense of paleface: white judges or white firefighters. (Sotomayor washed her hands off the white, New Haven firefighters, and upheld racial discrimination against them.) The so-called incontrovertible truth at which the Obama media minions are getting is this:

The GOP’s powerbase hangs on Hispanics.

Dogged demographer Steve Sailer has been dispelling this manufactured dogma convincingly for close to a decade …”

    Intelligent discourse no longer exists in this country. Everything to be said is first examined for its political benefits and second vetted so as not to be hurtful to one group or another. If the Founders worked under our rules we would still be debating the Constitution. There is the saying that first-rate people hire first-rate people, and second-rate people hire third-rate people. We now have a President who is hiring a fourth-rate person for the Supreme Court. Who IS John Galt? Does anyone have an island for sale?

    For most of my fifty odd years of life, the democratic party has been slowly moving hard left, while the republican party has been moving to take over the spot once held by mainstream “democrats”. For the past two decades, the democratic party has come out of the closet and chosen to run on the social democrat principle as its new premise, opening an even more liberal spot for republican party leaders to take as their own, since both parties long ago chose power over service, as their principle goal and purpose.
    With the election of an illegal alien, accomplished by a media which no longer has any qualms about being completely, transparently partisan, and a predetermined candidate, long prepped for his meteoric rise by his tenders, running against someone particularly polarizing, there was little question of who would win the seat, qualified or not.
    At this point, the only question is how much longer the Nation will survive before it must remit its self to the world it owes more the the gross national product to, which is about to come to collect.
    I only hope those who put this man in office by their votes recognize the source of their oppression when it sits on their shoulders, however that is probably a vain hope.

    Government backed fractional reserve banking steals from the poor via inflation for the benefit of banks and borrowers. This originated with the Bank Of England in 1694. The practice is not only dishonest but it is unstable too as we currently see.

    So, I will try to look with tolerance and sympathy at those who have been oppressed directly or indirectly by that practice.

    The means are the end;
    winners do not cheat;
    cheaters do not win.

    A short term gain?
    A pragmatic reason?
    Sure, just as sure as sin

    It is a very sad commentary on the USA that most people act like their brain is stuck in quick sand. They are so apathetic that it is enough to make me nauseous. With all of the statements that Sotomayor has made that are so incredible, and people just roll over like they could not care less. These are the kind of people that will complain the most when Sotomayors diabolical doctrines are finally allowed to come to fruition. Sotomayor not only has absolutely NO business being a Supreme court Justice, but she needs to be taken out behind the woodshed. Hussein Obama says that she has “common sense”. The only thing that is common about her views is the fact she shares the views of Nikita Krushchev. I truly hope that she is not appointed. My final word on the matter is this: America, wake up now! ~Martin Berrow

    Martin, I would just like to say in the defense of the American people that the brain-washers have done a superb job. Their apathy was borne by relentless propaganda and cheap entertainment, vis XBoxes and pornography. For us South Africans it’s Rugby, but the idea is the same. As long as The Man doesn’t touch our entertainment, we don’t care what he does.
